all in black and white kiddies QUOTE Due to the recent breakdown in extended and exhaustive negotiations, Ninety Degree Entertainment has been regrettably forced to cancel the current 2010 series format and postpone the Drift Australia events for 2010.
The premature announcements regarding Drift Australia in 2010 was somewhat based on maintaining commitments that still are being negotiated. In light of this announcement, Ninety Degree Entertainment and all the teams are still committed to delivering a national drift series. During this time, a new series format will be developed to a more feasible platform for all competitors and stakeholders with the view for long-term sustainability. The series organisers and all teams will be collectively communicating new ideas and strategies for a stronger return in the near future. The relative late notice can affect the environment of the round format. Given that many tracks are not flexible later in the year, Drift Australia in 2010 may not run with the scheduled five rounds. All entry fees paid to date will be fully refunded. Stay tuned for further announcements. |

but more wanna know things like: does it need to have lights? BRAKE LIGHT YES TAIL LIGHTS YES so other know what your doing. head lights would be good for when it rains. indicators? dont think so can i take some glass out- not front or rear of course pretty shore you can and replace it with persplex contact cams and see if their is any rules on the type. do i need a tailshaft loop? no that i know of. never seen run on a race track. do i need to run 2nd bonnet catch ..IE bonnet pins? YES, in the 2nd last autosalon was a tech section on a diffrent style of bonet latch that does not require holes in the bonet. those kinda things.. i dont wanna build a car to get down there and have it not pass scrutineer.. |

Im also curious to know the exact specs that you have to build your car to, its a little bit hard when you get different information from different people so if there is some form of guide lines (possibly within teda or cams?) it would great to have a read of... |

You could build your car to the cams regulations if you like, but we have been drifting street legal cars for the past few years the most recent change is you must have a Fire Extinguisher. all the other stuff still applies like batteries being secured properly seatbelts airfilters mounted properly and so on. |
