so i got vl turbo shit arsss rb3o shit it self planing to get rb25det conversion is this hard to do me brother in law in auto elec so wireing be no prob just need to noe does engine bolt st8 in will i need new tail shaft

this is just a guess but i would say you need an rb25 gearbox and tailshaft aswell.
maybe even slave cylinders and some other bits and pieces.
i doubt it would be a straight bolt it

how about you grab a 25 head and bolt it to your RB30 apparently it's the hype going around these days
why down grade when you could rebuild the RB30 alot stronger and smoke anithang on da str33t

hit up the skyline australia site and see what ppl can do and offer on your situation

pretty easy i guess, my bro used to have a blue vl (plates RBE25 then changed to JET_025) sadly he pulled it apart and sold it... easy to put in and out if u have the right equipments.

As been said before,

Just rebuild the 30 bottom end and drop a 25 head on it.

or just rebuilt the 30!!

the rb 25 motor will bolts striaght in aslong as u use the rb30 engine mounts , i used the r33 manual box so i got the vl tail shaft and the r33 yolk took it to a tail shaft expert to make me up the tail shaft man
also got the loom both the rb30 and rb 25 loom remade to suit the car ,
