so excited inheriting a 89 cressida
gonna sell my car and do a 2jz manual conversion :thumbsup: ...eventually- looking around and reckon it'll cost me bout 10k
first I'll get some coilovers
and some really nice fat drifting wheels
lsd...

any help is much appreciated since I'll probably only get 5k from my car... :wtc:

say anyone tried turbo'ing the 7m?

sounds good, there is alot of info on toyotacressida.net if you want to have a look. alot of people have put a factory turbo 7m in there cars from a supra i think they came from??? but for the price i would rather a newer jz engine for that money.

there are a few dudes around with 7mgte's but nothing special go the jz conversion or 1uz with a turbo or supercharger

at the moment organising kick down switch
relay for the fuel pump.

tacho isnt working might need a resistor for it.

mod plate and roadworthy to be done after that then should be hittin the road.

i went and had a look at my car today should have it back tuesday arvo now. my 3.5" exhaust has been done and they were in the middle of doing my custom surge tank under the car with two 044's and bigger lines. so that will be other thing done :D

ive seen a credissa around stafford a lot recently.. it's fucking so low in the back.. plates are like 514 or 541 or some shit?? anyone got details?

^^^ cant say ive seen it. im getting my car back tomorrow arvo. exhaust done custom surge tank mounted under the car with pumps, bigger fuel lines up to my new reg so just got to order my fuel rail and injectors during the week. its getting there haha.

got my car back now and have my new fuel rail and 870cc injectors ready to be fitted so that will give me something to do over my chrissy holidays apart from drinking. then of to get my ecu and tune done. hows your car coming along dan??? got the tune done now???

got standed 2jz (440cc) injectors if someone wants them for a 1jz??? $200 pulled them out today ready to go still in standed rail.

some nice cressidas on here, here is my wifes daily driver

mx83 1jz, t66 turbo, turbosmart gate, 6boost manifold, 4000rpm convertor, manualised auto, microtech ltx16, 550cc injectors and so on. i have only just finished it and will be getting some tuning done in january hopeing for 450rwhp and a 10 second slip all going well.

looks good mate,i msg you on cressidaforums. we will get a cruise going in a few months when we have our cars up and going. im just waiting on other people now to do there part on my car then im good to go.

ep82 buy my wheels for your cressida. Best thing about them if you wish to do a brake conversion later on they fit under these wheels very well.

put it on its lid after getting to crossed up exiting a roundabout on cotlew street

got a new shell for $500 with a blown head gasket and re-did the conversion though

hows every ones car going??? my new fuel rail is in with my new injectors. other then that not much from me. been helping a mate with his car.
