yeah good, been waiting for the manifold to get hpc coated but got that back today (i week later lol). exhaust manifold made and hpc coated, cooler piping is made, dump/waste gate pipe is made so just got to put all that side of things to put back together then of to get the rest of the exhaust made. might try and get pics up on the weekend or early next week as my computer shit its self and im using my old ladys computer.

slide 1600- that was jp's old car. its a pretty clean wagon you have there. i was going to buy it a while ago. but i just started to build mine when i seen it at his house. cant wait to get mine going then might have to get a cruise happening hey guys???

my new custom steampipe exhaust manifold, alloy intercooler piping, 3.5" stainless dump pipe with plumb back gate.









car is off this thursday arvo to get the rest of the 3.5" exhaust done from the dump pipe back. getting new surge tank made under the car with new bigger fuel lines and two 044 pumps mounted.

found out my wiring for my cress is nearly ready
possibly have a dodgy switch on the side of my gearbox though, as its only recognising park and neutral.

just the aristo box
im pretty sure its just the switch is buggered as, everywhere i look and people that have done the conversion that use the aristo box
hasnt done anything with the switch.
Soon find out anyway

That looks mint pig. how much did you pay for all that piping ? fmic and manifold? i love it. not too keen on the high mounted wastegate is that the only place it could be put ? What size is that gate?

exhaust manifold was 1000 (steampipe), piping was 700 i think (alloy). i wanted the gate mounted high as its easy to get to when i get it tuned. when it was in the commodore it was mounted right under and we needed to change the spring in the gate when on the dyno but was to hot to get to and had to wait until it cooled right down. so i wanted it up high to get to easy for tuning etc. its a turbosmart 48mm gate and yeah there is plenty of room under the manifold.

almost finished
just have some issues with the switch on the box not recognising some of the gears.
something dodgy going on

should have it sorted out very soon.

after that, be putting all the fluids in and away we go.....hopefully

you getting another tune or just using what on there???? what internals are done in you 2j???

im taking my car this arvo to get the exhaust done and while its on the hoist im doing the custom surge tank and mounting two 044 under the car. then ive got to see when efi can fit it in for the computer and injectors so not sure if they can do it before chrissy or not.
