Cressida thread is dying off. How is the 2j in your cressida going pig060 ?

yeah go very well, fitted up the clutch/box to the engine and the engine and box is in the car, intercooler mounted for for the pipe work, started to get the steampipe manifold made. tailsharft has been made and fitted. clutch pedal is pretty much all in just have to get a braded line made for it now. all the easy stuff like fuel lines are fitted and water lines etc, au falcon fans fitted, so yeah its coming along pretty good. intercooler piping, exhaust manifold, dump pipe with plumb back wastegate will be done and fitted up next week all going to plan.

Who is doing your cooler piping ? I need mine done but dont want to spend much.

ill see if he brakes it down for me or not as ill be getting my exhaust manifold, cooler piping, dump pipe with plumbback wastegate, traction control cut off the throttle body and a few other bits so i would say he will just give me a bill at the end.

just a few pics for you guys to have a look. ive done more then whats in the pics but i just thought ill throw up a few that ive taken. intercooler pipe work and exhaust manifold should be done in the next week or so. just got the stainless exhaust manifold in this pic but have a new steampipe one being made. and my dump pipe and exhaust will be done after the other stuff is done just takes time. the last pic is of my custom 5puc npc clutch, billet flywheel, turbosmart external gate and gt35r

i was ment to be getting my cooler piping done this week but the guy has to finish of the job before me so next week it should be done. my exhaust manifold is made and ready to fit just waiting to take the car to his place to do cooler piping at the same time.

Are anyone's services for sale here?


I got a '91 MX83 Grande 7MGE (Grampa Mint Condition) and an '88 MX83 GLX with JZX81 1JZ-GTE conversion (+ goodies). Plan is to swap everything so I'm left with a grampa spec 1jz grande :hsdance:


Should be a bolt in jobbie, but I have limited mechanical knowledge/tools to do it. PM me if you're interested.

my car goes in tomorrow arvo to get the final fitting of my exhaust manifold, intercooler piping made and my dump/wastegate pipe made as well. cant wait to get this thing done :)

Who would you guys recommend to tune a 1jz, gt30r with microtech lt12s and x6 igniters? I'm in North Brissy.

well once this guy does my cooler piping, exhaust manifold and dump pipe all thats left is just the exhaust from the dump back, get a new power steering line made and clutch line then i think it will be ready to get my ecu and injectors. efi performance will be doing my tuning at this stage. rotor_head_83 ive heard and seen a few good cars come out of efi performance and they now have the record for the fastest 1jz powered car in the country. they are in yatala.

1.5jz- hows your coming along? got the new tune done yet? i went down to have a look at my car on sat and its coming along very nice. exhaust manifold is made, dump/wastegate pipe has been made, cooler piping is all done now just got to send of the manifold for hpc coating next week then once thats done it can be all put back together again.

coming along nicely by the sounds of it im looking forward to seeing this out, my car is doin well saw it today new pulley is on custom powersteering bracket made, picked it up now just waiting for the tune its looking to be tuned wednesday :) so soon as its getting done/finished il post pics and dyno results, pete and i looking forward to it been waiting alone time alot of hard work so fingers crossed it pays off

ive got a 2j manifold with t3 flange on it? might swap you some parts of your wreck? it fits a cressida as i had it in to see if it would fit mine and it did. its just a stainless one.

The left light isnt the best its like its got moisture in it. But yeah man id swap you that stuff for the t3 manifold.
