problem sorted im buying a vn similar to the one in my signature till im off my p's and thats only till i turn 25 so 3 years of a nice clean vn to work on will be goood fun than just whack a 5ltr in it when hit opens By then it'd be cheaper/less hassles to just sell it and buy one that came out with a v8. |

a VN 5spd with a lil tlc will run high 14s, any 5spd or worked E series falcons and a sr20 n14 with basic P plater mods (clutch, zorst ect) cars can be bought for what 2-3k and easly wrap you and your mates round a power pole. All do over 200kph, do 100kph+ in 2nd gear. |

You do realise super long gear ratio's are not a good thing... rx8? my mates on his ps and drives his dads everyday. apparently they are p plate legal.. correct me if im wrong as thats just wat he tells me not legal. cant have 8 cylinders full stop. Hahaha omg are u serious? Learn to read. |

M3? but in all seriousness the XR6 is the cheapest best option if you dont have bucket loads of cash and there are plenty of things to do to it to make it quicker that the queensland transport dont have to know about such as aftermarket computer, cams (not too big so its not noticeable) port work, raise the compression, headers etc bahahahaha xr6 aint shit my 88 vn 5 speed chomps the absolute crap out of them and all its got is cold air induction, 2.5 inch exhaust and extractors on it. SV6 go pretty hard my mates got one and it just beats my vn |

Hahaha omg are u serious? Learn to read. Has probably just read it as xr8 instead of rx8. But both are illegal anyway i thought. bahahahaha xr6 aint shit my 88 vn 5 speed chomps the absolute crap out of them and all its got is cold air induction, 2.5 inch exhaust and extractors on it. SV6 go pretty hard my mates got one and it just beats my vn Ive spent a fair bit of time behind the wheel of a VN and a VZ sv6 and both were great bang for buck and really moved. |

EHH Also if the VN and the E series are auto they would need diff gears such as 3.9s ect Where did i say super long gear ratios are good... dipshit. How is 100kph in 2nd long? thats like 60 in first what a great gear for launching.... rofl dick head. Its only shit boxes with no torque or power that need super close boxes or just built drag cars that cross the finish line doing full revs. Your post was implying that going 100km/h in 2nd was a good thing. And since when was a SR20DE an incredibly torquey engine that would benefit from a 3.9 final drive over a higher gear ratio? We're talking about naturally aspirated P-plate legal cars. If you want acceleration from your average p-plate legal car then you would want shorter gears. |

go the vn/p/r man. 10 reasons why:- 1. cant kill them. 2. cheap parts (if needed) 3. reliable 4. half decent power 5. comfortable to drive 6. big enough to fit you, your mates, missus etc 7. good torque - great for towing 8. wont give a shit if it gets dented or scratched 9. cheap and easy to mod 10. its a holden. and if you want to be different and do one up. id personally go a wagon. seriously man. how many done up wagons do you see around? fuck all. and they are more practical. thats just my 2 cents It had want to be fucking big enough to fit your missus, assuming that you have one. |
