Just bought a 2000 Hiace and currently getting it ready for a complete interior fit out then work on the outside. Here are some pics i took over the last couple of days.. Laid the foam underlay to stop vibration noise and some sort of insulation from the hot and cold temps. Put together wheel arch boxes. Cut cardboard templates then laid flooring using 9mm MDF and lined walls using 3mm MDF. Also made boxes for the wheel arches. Tommorow I will be lining the roof with 3mm and laying marine carpet for the boxes and floor but not I'm not 100% sure what I want to do for the walls and roof ...any suggestions would be appreciated?? Also another quick couple of questions, after opinions on wheels.. Im going 19's or 20's but havent made up my mind on chrome or black rims.. or even a mixture of both. As for the altezza tail lights which of these 2 do you guys prefer.. any feedback would be killer! Yeah champ the MDF panels are just to make it look a bit better. want to keep it straight inside without all the ridges when the carpet goes over. |

I did think about doing that. Although I dont have access to a compressor. Either way I dont want to coat every square either. |

Don't forget when using contact adhesive that you need to WAIT after painting/spraying it on. The tin will specify the time, but normally ~10min until it's tacky. If you whack it on straight away, it won't bond properly. |
