That's very different though than putting GTR badges on a NA skyline. or Evo stickers on a gli. Alot of effort goes into building genuine replica's. What would you say if you say a 4Cyl Sunbird with SLR 5000 down the side, and no other modification? Gotta admit i'd have a bit of a chuckle. But these days i really couldnt give a shit what other people do to their cars, each to their own. No matter what you do, somebody out there will laugh at it and run it down.... geez, even dropping a blown Kieth Black engine into my Torana will probably get the knockers calling it an expensive bogan mobile, or unpractical, unstreetable shit, etc, etc. So as far as im concerned if people want to decorate their cars with mods out of the latest SuperCrap Auto catalogue, or put a badge on their shitbox from some other overhyped, over glorified shitbox, then good on them...... its not my money they're wasting. But after i win Ozlotto tonight i'll probably be building a replica GTHO rather than pay 20 times the price for the original, eventhough i'll have 90mill in the bank to be able to afford said original! |

Hell, you could afford to buy the original and make a 'fairlane' replica out of it! Hell, i could probably buy two originals! And lend one to one of the p platers off boost, who is a super duper excellent driver because they have a picture of a GT-R stuck to the front of their maths schoolbook. Within 3 minutes it'll be wrapped around the nearest tree...... one less genuine GTHO. I claim insurance, and the value of my other genuine model goes up. And we get rid of one annoying P Plate Skyline loving know it all schoolboy!! Win/win situation!! |

Ive seen about a hundred excels, lasers, festivas ETC with WRX bonnet scoops. Hah I asked some lil kid who was trying to race me what the thing on the front of his excel was. Said "Uhh it's a vent". I returned, "lol what's it for?" He says, "For better air flow, duh" Gotta love that airflow. |

what i get pissed at is ppl using gtr spoilers and body kits on gtst's and the like. anyone can stick on a badge, but to stick on a body kit shows they put alot of effort into their wannabe gtr I don't mind this. I think if you are going to stick on a bodykit, at least make it something factory. But then again, I wouldn't be bodykitting an NA skyline in the first place. |

*BUMP* like reading this This isn't Offtopic. hahaha lol rookie rox your soo funny meh typical e-warrior I'd be quite happy to laugh in person, along with your want to join the 'cool kids' with a 180SX and Vault Crystals. Oh, wait, the cool kids don't shop at Tempe. OT: Of course the long winning example of fakes is the GTR Mustang from the States with a rotary and forged pistons. ROCK ON R~R |

You're fooling yourself if you thought others were fooled...we just all thought you were a mighty douche. ROCK ON R~R hahaha lol rookie rox your soo funny meh typical e-warrior Funny or not he still tells the truth. Also why do people who own Civics put massive Honda stickers over their back windshield, is it so we don't mistake it for a Ferrari or something. Although definately not in the same (low) league as the fakers. |

Jesus Christ....JESUS FKING CHRIST....WHAT THE FCK IS THAT. This guy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a car. I wonder what happens when he pulls up to his house, do clowns jump out or something? Whats with the $10 steering wheel cover, a bit short on cash after the 10k paint job? I know each to there own, but seriously, it looks molested and needs to be reported. People like that give Subaru owners a bad name. |

chev badges on holdens piss me right off. just cause the engine is a chevy (even though some ppl with v6's still do it). its like someone putting a honda engine in a toyota then putting honda badges on it.. Not particuarly. Considering GMC is the parent company of GMH, and the motor is a Chevroloet motor, i dont see what the fuss is about regarding a Chev badge on a Chev powered Holden. And its not like its something new...... there is countless early model Monaros, Toranas, and F, E and H series Holdens with Chev V8s in them that wear a Chev badge, and nobody knocks them. |
