C'mon now, I know it seems a little odd, but too close would be door to door, not bumber to bumber! It was for two reasons, |

QUOTE(VLCT WALKY @ Mar 17 2009, 05:45 PM) 3 x the price for a night meet! wow ! But 3x times the amount of drifting! I know it is costly, but no more than "down south" and will be well worth it. an extra $88.00 over the normal, for 5 hours of drifting mayhem! no one is being forced to do it, but it is what it costs, and if no one turns up, we just go back to drifting in the stinking hot day with all the other grip racers. |

lars a basic round up of fees for a meet is cams fee can't remember off the top of my head about a bit over $1000 you would be looking at having to hire atleast 8 or 9 light towers to do that area plus then lights for spectator area so no one can sue you for tripping over a twig you still have the track hire witch is $500 a day. |

Lights are part of the cost, we have to pay for the fuel they use, but the hire of them has been sposored by COATS HIRE, thank you to COATS for getting onto it so fast. |

I think the price is more than fair. Motorsport elsewhere in Aus is extortion. We have it good up here and take it for granted. QUOTE(Territory Laser Cutting @ Mar 17 2009, 06:09 PM) to still participate without the fear of having a big orange VL coming through their side!! ha ha. Just think of this first night as a testing ground. Once we complete it, with little or no problems, we can continue to push the D1 boundaries for the following events. HAHAHA!!! Agreed. |

this is going to be sick. is there a TEDA Meeting coming up beofre the drift night 18th and fun day on the 11th? i think that they should be a break during the eliminlations or i can see people cooking motors and the business. should let the none qualifers have a bit more of a run that depends on numbers though. |

Have the guys still battling it out a chance to cool down and regroup and then give the non qual peeps a bit more track time. Not only that it will string the night out a bit and give the spectators more for there money and we all know that a good show will be talked about for months to come. Shane your thoughts |

gday all, new 2 this forum. Im the guy with the fd rx7. As a learner drifter i need as much track time as possible. If there were sum 10 or 15 minute sessions after practice and quallifying for beginers 2 get more practice it could only b a good thing for expansion of the drift scene in nt. I will never get 2 the level of others if my night ends after qualifying. Anyway i need a new diff after blowing mine on sunday so i will do my best 2 b at night drift and try to put on a good show. If anyone can lend a hand (or hoist and air tools) 2 get the fd mobile let me know |
