I have a black 1991 XF Panelvan in matt black with jellybean mags but im too ashamed to show a pic - mentioning it is bad enough haha

A mate of mine who i work with just drove his grandads old HQ panelvan up from melbourne (to brisbane) over the last couple of days since the grandad wont er... wont be needing it anymore.

Somehow the ol' 179 made the trip.

Shame about the HX mate - love the retro bonnet mirror.

my dads van started out like this

and then he put the transam front on but then the cops pulled him over and it was deemed alegal cause it affected the crush rate of the car.

Very different - but very nice. Makes the front a lil longer but definitely sharper.

stupid thing is that cars were not crash tested to my knowledge till around 1990 what a stupid coppa so the vehicle wouldn't have had the ADR's for crash rate or crumple zones.

Cars have been crash tested for a lot longer than that.

I have had 2 chrysler panelvans, 1x sportspack and 1x drifter. The sports pack was a late '77, as opposed to the other which was an early '77, and the later one had crumple zones incorporated into it then

Im not going to argue about it but the info I was going off was the NCAP site US was 78 and we were 92 that it all started.
