just wondering if anyone can help me with my car...its a 1998 vs caprice with a 3.8 factory supercharged v6 with a 10 psi pulley...now the problem is it wont boost, the car just drives like a normal v6 but now and then the boost comes on (once a week or so) just for a short squirt....is there anything i can modify to have boost constantly (actuator or omething of the sort)??? has anyone had the same shit happen to their car?? cheers |

Check the accessory belt tension is tight enough, common for them to slip with old belts |

not too sure if its that...is there any solenoids or actuators that are in control of reguating the boost in any way...i think it could be something along the lines of that |

its actually quite possible cause previous owner had troubles of the sort when he first bought it do you know in detail where the valve is and if theres any modification to override it to see if its the problem |

The valve is next to the throttle body, black with a rod coming out of it and a vacuum line going into it |
