Spot on! Coming on to the straight. I guess the problem is that they have widened the track so drivers use the extra space to go through the corner quicker and there is then less run off to the wall. At the end of the day though, I did not have to go so hard and run off the edge. I just dropped the backwheel on the dirt and it was all over. It was very fast, hard into 4th gear, so probably 160 ish??? (not looking at the speedo though... ). YOu live and learn! |

it doesn't look too bad at all considering the speed involved. I've done much worse at much lower speeds! you gotta be on the edge if you want to go fast... do they still have a ripple strip on the outside of the track? I used to hit that quite regularly last year, and once or twice got away with overstepping it. could just as easily have done this to the Supra... |

Nah, you'll be right as long as youve got a rear wing. Hope to see ya back out there soon. |

I really thought you had it a couple of times there as I was watching from pits. The tank slapping seemed to go on and on, maybe 100 m from where you first touched the dirt to impact and a testament to your driving skill. I was hoping for a nice straight 360 spin and carry on as though it was all planned, but it kicked back hard there at the end. You'd probably washed off about half your speed by the impact, but still unpleasant. Hope it is repaired and back again soon. |
