Hey guys, i heard that g200s bolt straight into gems, and i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and if they are ( non turbo) a powerful engine for the gemini. Thanks. P.S. how much do do the g200s usually go for? This post has been edited by Tommydrifter33: Feb 3 2009, 09:18 PM |

Very strong engine, make very strong power and the conversion to EFI is the hardest part. One of the better engines for a nice street Gem |

i heard g200s were illegal in gems, but ppl seem to not care cause they are hardly noticed from the stock engine |

They are legal, they are EFI so emissions is no problem. The engine capacity is within weight limits. |

If you want to make a donut machine bore it out 60 thou that's the limit and make sure you have everything really clean and do the head bolts up exactly how they tell you to .use a well prepared 1600 head I had twin 40 mm side draft Webber's on I swap them for a single 45 mm side draft it was a lot better more power and quicker revs get the dizzy regraft a good set of extractors . I could sit on the spot in second gear with 225x55x15 on the back all day .if you want it to handle like a go kart get 2 rear sets of v8 vk commodore springs and put them in ... Awesome little car then .. good luck |
