your right and your wrong, this car is a lexus. Soarer history states that the sc400 was the V8 version of the JZZ30, JZZ31 being the 3.0 non turbo version. JZZ30 = Soarer 6cyl turbo JZZ31 = Soarer Non Turbo.
UZZ30 = Lexus V8 UZZ31 = Lexus V8 with air suspension and the UZZ32 being the Lexus V8 with air suspension and 4 wheel steer.

However the SC430 was never a 30 series, its the 40 series that was released in 2001 with a fold away hardtop and completely different body shape so unless it has had an engine conversion done then it will be a 1UZFE lexus SC400

sc430 in pic below

No your wrong this car IS NOT A LEXUS.

Either way that's concerning oopsie.gif

If you realy HAVE to know i have two young children and they just got out after watching a BBC program called night garden. Hence the image of a young child on the screen. And all you "film criticts and porn adicts" can finally let the topic of whats on the screens go... nothing to it..

Not sure mate, had been done prior to mebuying it, its black pearl with flicks of blue in it (although hard to see on an overcast day)

And it's a TOYOTA!
The only Lexus models are in the U.S and are all left hand drive, with no EMV, no airbag suspension and an analogue dash instead of the digital.
I will give anyone my car if i'm wrong!!!

Look im far from an expert on this, and to tell you the truth i bought the car because i fell in love with it the first time i drove it. But from thelog book (lexus SC400) and lexus transponder key i had to have imported from lexus in the states through a dealer here... im kinda guessing that it IS a lexus.

you are wrong champ, we import soarer aka sc400 half cuts from japan badged as lexus, they all have a 1UZFE and have airbag suspension aswell as a digital dash. They were not all exported to the US and left hand drive otherwise we would be getting left hand drive sc400's, ls400's and so on.

Oh and the guy next door who owns Tuff Toys has 3 Lexus sc400's in his yard, factory right hand drive, all with 1UZFE's, airbag suspension, and digital dash.

christ, thanks mate, someone beat me to it. As you said, the soarer is japan only. The japs dont care for wanky options like emv screens, reversing cameras etc. For their cars to sell in other countrys they must offer something appealing. example:the nissan 300zx..in japan its the fairlady z. Americans wouldnt buy them if badged as this..yanks can make the biggest terd of a car sound the goods with some over the top name. marketing is a wonderfull thing indeed.

ITS A FUCKEN TOYOTA

Sort of yep!

Toyota Soarer Series 30 was made in five different variants:

jzz30 - twin turbo rocket ship with springs and shocks
jzz31 - 3.0 normally aspirated with springs and shocks
uzz30 - 4.0 normally aspirated V8 with springs and shocks
uzz31 - 4.0 with airbag TEMS suspension
uzz32 - Ducks guts top of the line 4.0 V8 with active hydraulic suspension and 4 wheel steer.

jzz31 and uzz30 were chosen from the lineup to be badge marketed in the USA as a Lexus product, the SC300 and SC400 models.

They were effectively the 'base' models of the Soarer lineup. The Japs kept the best for themselves and very few Soarers left Japan. A few were marketed in Thailand and Singapore under the Toyota badge.

There are currently two known SC400 USA spec Lexus cars in Australia. A white car, imported in 1997 and a bronze car, imported last year. Both of these cars have been converted to RHD using Soarer components and are on the register at Lexus dealerships.

Lift the lid on any 'real' Lexus SC300 or SC400 and you will see that the VIN number begins with JZZ31 or UZZ30. Another item of proof that they came out of the same mold.

Same goes for the new Lexus SC430. Lift the bonnet and check the VIN number on one of them and you will find that it started it's life as a UZZ40 Soarer.

Right so the people that import the cars and parts are wrong according to you and you know more then them. This could not possibly be a lexus just because you googled some shit that told you something different. I work in the import industry and have to deal with moron's like you almost everyday, but i tell you what you come down to my work and tell everyone there that you know more and that we have never imported a RHD Lexus Sc400 halfcut, then after your done there go next door and tell the guy from Tuff Toys that his 3 Lexus Sc400's are badged wrong. Then you tell Lexus they have never delivered a single sc400 to australia.

IT'S A TOYOTA....they've obviously just been badged a LEXUS for pretentious wankers.
Google it or, better yet, ask any of us on Soarer Central or ALSC and we'll all tell you the same thing.
Go on google and you'll see that only the Toyota Soarer models had EMV's, airbag suspension, and a digital dash.
If the car has any of these things, it's a Toyota!!
Someone who knows what they're talking about help me out here!!

P.S, i'm talking about the UZZ31.

Yeah The GT-T badge is gone! Its funny i have done a little bit of research on it, and it appears not all twin turbo's came out with this badge? So what is the importance of it?
And no the controller Miro had installed, in it when i got it! Comes in handy for geting over large speed bumps though biggrin.gif
