righto for starters im not having a dig at anyone here, its just a bit of an inconvienience. who cares really, it was something i wanted to redo anyways... took it to fingers alluminium today and let just say he showed me a much better way to do the mounting and the job will be taken care of properly in a non dodgy way when i have the spare coin to spend, tilll then ive remounted it with a good strong pair of brackets.

now as for the not needing teda to drift, i personally had myself a conversation with Gail Kroonstuiver about this very subject and the answer is yes you do need Teda to drift at the moment but there could be an exception if many people arent happy with the situation.

if your in this boat like some people appear to be PM me and i can let you know your options anyways for now thats how it is and you will need all this to go drifting.

anyways i stil havent decided if ill be out there on sunday yet, waiting to se what else falls off the car before then.

I'm not so sure Lucas - I believe in the past they were trying to make teda membership a requirement. But no where on any entry form or set of regulations is TEDA membership necessary. Pretty sure non-Teda members have drifted before??

"Drift entries do not need to be TEDA members. Its the same sort of deal as first time lapsprinters.

Entrants will need to pay NAMSC/ CAMS day membership, Insurance and entry fee, nothing else."

it doesnt matter what i want to do bj as i have teda membership, paid it for the year. i was just merely stating the facts for those who were asking about it. and if tedas drifting next year ill probably drift with them then too. see whether or not i am though, i sorta prefer the upgrade my brakes and go racing option lol.

Went down to watch the drifting today! A couple of the boys are gonna need some panel work done, but all in all you guys have come along way from 12mths ago! Congratulations! :lol: Was also good to see a couple of new guys out there, a black RX-7 and Mitch in a black R32/33/34 :P Had a quick chat to Mitch, nice guy and a nice ride plus the boy has drift skills! :P

Looking forward to next season guys, keep up the good work!! :(

The black r32 Mitch i think it was. He was sick. Jeff has some r32 compitition on the rise. Well done mate. The rest i dont know they all just seemed to be trying a little to hard. But was good to watch. Bring on next season i shall be out there with yas.

no compition that mitch guy was great, so smooth can tell he's been doing it for a while, can't wait for him to learn the track, hopefully the local boys will have picked there game up by then :(

thanks guys I really appreciate the comments :( its been so long since i was actually at a track i think i suprised myself today :P there was a few groups of people with cameras up on turns 5 and 6 so i bet they got some good footage/still shots :lol:

can't wait for the next time on track, must get into some battles with more of you guys!

*note to self - bring at least 6 pairs of tyres next time*

i bet you'll have heaps of guys comeing down just to watch you! more people on the hill! and if u havn't been out of a while and are rusty at the moment i'd hate to see when u get comfortable with the track :( once again great to watch!

He was not quite as good as Jeff but only cos he has not been on the track as much. I think he will smash it in after another run or to. Well done mate.

Turn 5 or clubhouse. Basically the one before the hairpin. I got some footage of you i think but i stopped filming after a bit. Was hot and i wanted to watch.
