Damo i had the 2x mk2 and i used it at D.A this year for the 1st time and just quietly it was absolutely appalling whether it was the settings i was using but 90% of my photos were blurry even at reasonably high shutters for entry's |

I heard lots of bad things about the 2.0x tele convertor but to be honest im sold on it... yes image quility is reduced aswell as auto focus speed... but compareing that to my 350d and 55-250 i think its still better... |

With those images you posted above and normally all your images they look asif they have a sort of soft glow around the edges, not saying it looks bad but it looks good and i know its a filter |

QUOTE(Kyl3 @ Oct 5 2008, 11:04 AM) If it's a cheap shit filter it will give odd halos and things! UV filters do shit all anyway Word. Selling my 17-85 and I'm giving my Hoya UV as a freebe. Great detail, especially in the first volvo one. I rekon they're crisp as mate, any more detail and it'd take me all day to take it in. Nothing negative to say from me, and as to the halo.. I can't really say I've noticed anything, perhaps Casey is just nuts. |

just had a quick look through my photos and processed some shots. New Gear made it a steep learning curve, panning is alot harder with the extra weight of the 70-200 and 40d...i need more practice and my back and arms are quite sore lol... it rained in the middle of the day and i got drenched but the plastci bags worked atreat on the camera....anyway here are some teaser shot before i get a chance to go through the other 2000 shots. |

While i wished i was at bathurst on the weekend, i had to settle for Oran Park lol...Thought i get some more practice in with my new gear so i went out on Saturday for some dirty drift action, no new angles as im just trying to re learn what i was doing before. But im absolutely loving the 40d and 70-200. |

QUOTE(caseyjohnphotography) Posted Yesterday, 08:13 PM archy sucks, and so does qr esp if your not ontrack. hot pics matt Pity that's all we got dickhead. I and more and more people think archerfield rocks, it's a small tight track so it's good for cars other than big money power machines so you see a lot more on field than the usual's and for any photog, you're instantly on track and you don't need any certification etc.. Archy win Casey loose. |

lol, we all have to shot with what we are faced with... as much as i would luv to be able to take snaps at the best race tracks through out the world, its not going to happen so u got to make the most out of what you got unfortunetly and if u get bored of that you need to find new challenge/ angles.. |
