stock cressidas can be worth anywhere between 500 to 2500 depending on roadworthy-ness etc

all cressidas are auto, plus, the stock auto's are no good for boost, a stock 1J will kill one.

well my project cressida is all done!

Exhaust gets fitted up to it monday then its off to get mod plated, road worthied and rego'd

Pretty sure it would be the only 2jz non grande cressida.....but we have overcome the gearbox problem and have a fully manualised auto setup :D

Oh well, it drives sweet now anyway! :P

Would anyone happen to know what 1/4 times i should run with the cressida?

Its the 2jzgte with a FMIC and stock boost...any ideas?

id say around a mid to low 13? with the right stall ect ect

oh okay, fair enough...well im planning on upping the boost to 12psi. but gotta upgrade fuel pump before anything is done!

Hopefully i can get into a 12 second pass without many dramas

guy with a 2j merc stock motor runs 12.01 so as long as u do the right mods should b 12

im doing a 2jzgte into a mx73 at the moment
engine should be in it now

now is the wiring of ECU, exhaust dump and pipework

And there is a mx73 2jzgte already done. Its on performanceforums
by stints i think. Went to powercruise. Go to youtube and type in mx73 2jz and you will see it.

problem with the auto is that it wont change gears automatically because there is no ABS sensors so therefore the gearbox/ecu cant pick up wheel speed.

But the way its setup now, im happy with it :D

AFAIK there is no 2j list. I run the any car 1jz powered list and phil runs the any engine cressida list :D

1jz747 is on my list with a 10.1 when he was still 2.5L 1jz powered.

Wow, this thread is a little O/T...

Anyway, here is my old Cressi, MISS IT SOOOO MUCH!

7mgte, custom plenum, boost, standard turbo, front mount etc. was a good rig, want it back (hint hint)

Manualised Auto (easy Job, Bunch of relays and thats about it) Plus higher line pressure.

Sold it to a dude, did 213RwKW's and was supposed to do a 13sec 1/4?

I have got the brake upgrade on my cressy, (R33 calipers with BA falcon discs) just wanting to know who else in QLD here has done the same upgrade?

And also........Did you get an engineers report done on it?
