Thats my radiator and fan setup, when I removed the bodylift the engine was hitting the radiator. I could have stuffed around pulling the motor out and modding firewalls but cbf.

Cheers guys

Currently i have fitted 5" coils from king + 35mm spacers, the shocks are EFS extreme, they were given a little tune up by EFS before i got them because the shocks are designed for a 5" lift, and to suit a 6" EFS wanted to do a little work on them first. Castor is from Wizard performance, Brent is a great guy up there he will really look after you, highly recommend.

Wheels are Mickey Thompson Classic II's in a 15x10, on those are 35" Goodyear wrangler MTR's, cant fault these tires so far they have been great. awesome on rock. and the snorkel was made by the guys at Gold Coast 4wd and Performance in Nerang, also highly recommend them.

Under the hood is nothing special just the 4.2L turbo diesel, running stock boost, and a 2.5" zaust by Ashmore Exhaust.

Got alot of plans for it still, im ordering some new indicators and tail lights soon. hopefully start building the custom front and rear bar soon.

:P thanks for the comments.

Hopefully tomorrow arve I will get the radiator pipe mocked up and all going to plan by the end of next weekend itll be driveable again. Once its drivable again I can get the exhaust refitted, modify the sliders and make a start on my front bar.

swwet ..it looks massive ..is it running lockers ...how does it go off road .. i c in that pic uv got the inside wheel off the ground ..does that happen alot...my lux is bad for it ..thats why im looking at geting something else..maybe a 80 or a newish patrol ..or doing up a lux with simaler suspension to boofluxs.

lol cheers, im not running lockers, cant justify spending the $ on them. how does it go off road ? um pretty good lol, try not to get wheels off the ground too often like in the pic but it happens to everyone.

yeah if your looking get an 80 the possibilities are endless. :P

massive flex mate.

Yeah I have got the rear flexing well, though the front don't flex too good at all cause of the std 3 link front. Might have to invest in one of the superior superflex arm to fix that, but then the angle grinder will have to come out again and attack the front guards too. That Hilux flexes well booflux.

hey fellas got a few new pics of the lux up thanks to criso from last weekend. first 4by with my new arb bars an warn winch. also scored sum free old man emu shockies of my parents lux when they traded it.

btw wondering what to spend money on next, bigger tyres? rear leafs? front locker (auto or air)?

more clearance would be gud, the rear is very saggy, with IFS im poppin wheels left, right an centre.

cheers :P

booflux
Post #4299

Gotta B imo go a front auto locker best investment you can make on an IFS.

I'm looking at buying a 4x4 in QLD, but as I'm in WA, does anyone know if there is someone I can get to go over it (for a fee) to check it out before I spend more to come and view it?
