Im not trying to sound like a d!ck, but it is only a Maserati thats owned by some old fart, that will stay stock for its entire life!!!! BORING.

Give me an Aston Martin DB9 or Vantage or BMW M5 any day!!!! The Maserati's far too heavy to ever be a Supercar.

Are you guys serious? As it's name implies, its a GT...pretty simple, its not a Supercar, nor is it claiming to be. However in saying that, its more of a supercar then any of the cars you will ever own . Maserati is a company in its own right of Ferrari, its was around before Ferrari and they only share a few basic things like engine block, suspension etc.

And why the fuck wold you 'modify' a $340,000 car??? beyond what is already planned for it, ECU and exhaust system.

It is not meant to be the worlds fastest supercar. Its just a fast car that is
a. Expensive
b. Not very practical
c. High reving v8
d. Expensive to maintain
e. so low and long it limits where you drive

You know what? It's got a few Supercar traits...so maybe it is a Supercar

Bet yes, when you-or anyone in your family or extended family for that matter- own a $300,000 plus car, please feel free to upload some pictures

I can only assume my 600RR is faster to about 200ish then the car will go on to hit much higher top end speeds. Not many cars will hit 100km/hr in 3 seconds.

OT: MYB16, have you noticed that the wheel wells are carpeted yet? I had to do a double take when I was inspecting one down at Euro Marque Service. You know a car oozes money when you line an area subjected to the most crap with carpet

Yeah RR, I have noticed the carpet. And the interior, probably one of the nicest I have even sat in (which include, a number of Bentleys, Mercs, Alfas, Lamborghinis).

And to the person asking after the A6, its my Mothers. It's a 3.0 V6 TDI, one of the nicest cars I have driven.

I have heaps of respect for your dads car, but come on, you can not say the r35 gtr is a cheap japanese shit..
The GTR has it over a lot of $400,000+ supercars in everyway, speeds, looks, comfort. Look at all the reviews everyone has been doing on them. They are amazing. The R35 GTR is the ultimate car for its price. Sure, people will flame my post, and list cars that would flog the GTR, but remember the R35 costs what, around $160,000? And if you left it unmodified (sif you even need to modify it anyway), the car would last years without breaking.

I have never been in one, just as im sure any of you have. But from the hundred reviews i have read and watched, i've heard nothing bad about the r35 gtr at all.

i've never seen this Maserati on the streets before, probably closest thing to an exotic that we see in canberra are audi r8's. Saw one thismorning actually

Yeah, I do agree with your thoughts. The GTR is a fast car. But to me, and many many others thats all it is.

There is nothing else to it. For 160k I would way prefer a RS4 or M3, even though they only hit 100km/hr in 4.5-4.8 seconds...!

There is way more to a car then how fast it is. Its excatly the same with Jap bikes. I ride a 05 600RR and compared to a mates Ducati 848, it is completely crap, feels cheap and has no soul, yet they are just as fast as each other.

I'm currently studying Property Economics majoring in Urban Development at QUT. There sure is some money in property development, however it is becoming harder and harder to find feasible projects, unless you have capital of your own to work with.

Great profit/risk margins though
