EATU4T "low 2nd" lol was gud to see my mate with a stock lux with 31's get up a hill where the locked 80 backed out after a go haha hey hey hey. its low 1st for me thanks.. and yeah i did back off that slope, after having one crawling attempt at it, if i had of given it more boot and some more wheel spin( which to me is not what 4x4ing is about) then i would of made it no worries, but as there was another way up, i chose that instead, why put the extra stress on my truck if i dont have to.. i have all my goodies for a reason.. now if youd like to put your money where your mouth is, we're heading out again tomorrow and you more than welcome to join us... to me slow and steady wins the race in those sort of trails.. i do remember you getting a tad stuck on a smaller slope that i quite easily crawld up.. that was because you took the bull at a gate option and planted the boot in, which led to nothing but wheel spin on an extremly loose surface, instead of traction but you dont see me giving you stick about that.. your mate could have blown his cv on that slope that i back off on.. just like one of the other trucks did, and to me, the way he tackled it the first time was just plain stupid... end of rant. |

I think its important to know your trucks limits and have some sense if you want to do more wheeling than repairing. At Emu Creek on the weekend we did a number of the extreme tracks and only one gave me grief. There was a rock ledge right at the top i couldn't crawl up and couldn't bound over with a bit of throttle so rather than doing any damage i had another car (came up the chicken track) winch me over the ledge. No damage done. A JK Wrangler gave it a go with plenty of throttle and air, breaking both sidesteps, steering damper, and losing some sort of reservoir out the bottom of the car in the process. |

But from what you have listed Id go the Challenger. Check out MrBishis build of one on 4wd action its a really well set up all rounder. |
