bought this last week for 700 thought id start a new project chasing a 18r carbi if anyone has one aswell
just goin to put 33s on it for now and plod along
but in the long run will throw a 308 in it with new box and diffs with the style side taken of and replaced with a shorty tray back and a 2inch sus lift with a 3 body lift

why a 3" bodylift aside from the fact its illegal in most states the ones it isnt its damn hard to get engineered?

2inch body and keeping some 235/85/16 MT's under it would be more logic imho,33's on a 1.8 man its gunna be sluggish.

nice pickup for the dosh though looks like my kinda project.

thanks for the input guys will now change my mind about alot of things what would be the best lift to go with or should i just go a suspension lift and run some decent 31s

Then go a 2" bodylift, mild suspension lift add some 33s and regear it to suit add one locker and be done imo.

For suspension do some research on putting IFS rear springs in the back and putting your rear springs up front (RUF) with an inverted shock setup this can work quite well.

is that an ln46 i have an 82 dual cab and 33"s fit with no lift but they scrub a lil on the mudflaps so im lifting mine a couple of inchs

whats it like to get goin with the 33s
im only goin to do a 2inch suspension lift
and have u had trouble with ur points in ur dizzy

Unfortunately i ran the track last so there was a lot of slippery dust by the time i had to crawl out.

im thinking bout selling my lux. how much do you reckon i should sell it for. its a 88 2.4 diesel. ive been offered 3000 and 4000 but thats when i wasnt selling it. no i wish i had taken the offer. but yeah i was thinking around that price?

the rivet in under the gaurds. its easy to do. hardest part was puttin the rubber on

hey synergy dose your luxy have a body lift ive just bought a 2000 model sr5 dual cab and sort of want to run 32 under her :P

never had a ifs thats all wats the bigest in hight and with can u get away wit a 10inc rim cheers

I have same... but I need to raise the body to fit the tyres under (33x14x15's are rubbin) them flares
