Found myself with a spare few hours on Saturday arvo...so i headed out to eastern creek to try some new thing... the goal afternoon was to get some real slow shutter pans happening... pretty happy with how it turned out... all pictures where taken handheld with a canon 350d with 55-250is lense

Holy crap man, 11 is awesome!!

as too is 7 and 10.

Your last set is impressive too for someone whos starting with static photos. Dig the hachi rolling shot (#2) It's a bit cliche (every mag has at least one shot like it) but i still love them so i don't care!!

Top work man as always!

these two where the option for the current front cover for "the circuit"...it was my first time using my lighting setup...and yeah i have lots to learn...





the cover ended up being a rushed version of the last one...

thanks mate...i just need my triggers to turn up so i dont have to fire them by hand lol...there fucking me over massively..ahhh

The circuit magazine really does have some nice articles!

You've done a great job with the lighting aswell very moody. Nice PP aswell

thanks Chris...were really hoping it takes off.... the big difference the mag has over your generic car mag is that it focuses on the people behind the cars rather then just the cars...

i was trying to make the car all moody and aggressive as it is a 400kw monster lol...its was good practice and a great start...but there is lots of improving to come

something to try! Most of your pics are following the car and it being in focus. try a few snaps with the race track in focus with the car looking like its flying. Might be a little tricky capturing the car in the shot when the camera is still but give it a go...

nizpro: that pretty easy to do but the only reason i dont really do it is because our race tracks are really quite ugly lol..but ill try and do one at the next even that im doing which is this saturday

Photo shoot of the R34 looks cool with the second shoot i like the desat but i personally feel just a little bit more colour mostly the blue of the car would be good but yeah i'm just an average punter so what would i know.

Well last night i was bored so i did dodgy photoshot on my personal car my 1984 JDM toyota Ae86 sprinter...car was all dirty and it shows lol.... i was really trying to practice some idea i have for the next front cover of "the circuit"

I like the one looking at you. I am not a fan of angles thou. Its overdone plus it hurts my neck. I like the distance shot, maybe if you could hide one flash behind the pole, and the other else where, it could be an awesome shot!

Well i went out to take some happy snaps on Saturday of the circuit club guys, it was good to bring some of the skill ive been trying to practice into an event coverage...and im pretty happy with the results... all shots where taken using canon 350d and 55-250is lense with an 0.6 UD filter on for the slower shutter stuff.
