yeah was going to say it wouldn't be as cheap as 5k
im yet to see a decent V8 conversion done for under 7-8k
if i ever did one would be a old V8 as the newer ones require re-wiring etc
lot of work involved hence why it costs so much.

Did a 5litre conversion to a gq for just over 4g all up :-)

hey, does anyone know how hard it is to install a front locker? i would prefer to try it myself cus im a first year apprentice and get raped on wages so money is a issue :hsdance: but i finaly hav enuf cash for a lock rite locker. is it recomended to sendto a pro or is it something that anyone could do, im not fussed if it takes a whole weekend.

Mate its very easy to do, the first one a mate and I did took us a whole weekend I can do them in an IFS now in about 4 hrs. I have either installed or help install around 15 now and none have ever had a drama. If you want to pay someone then it defeats the purpose of a cheap locker imo. If you can get a manual for your truck and itll make it even easier. :hsdance:
