A few really important things everyone needs to be aware of for Sunday:

* Cars will need to queue up 3-4 places in advance
* Owners/drivers need to stay near their vehicles in the queue
* Owners/drivers only are to hop in their passenger seat when their vehicle is on the dyno

And most importantly ...

IF YOU MISS YOUR SPOT ON THE DAY ... WITH 49 OTHER CARS TO RUN ... IT'S A CASE OF SO SAD TO BAD

It's not that hard to be there prior to your run thumbsup.gif

Seems some people need reminding also ... only naturally aspirated cars can run NOS. The day is meant to be fun, not potential safety issues smile.gif

Don't know about you lot but I can't bloody wait facesjump.gif facesjump.gif

Nah, but it will be interesting to see what figures it puts down. Any actual mods done to the alfa?

None at all. I don't really plan on doing many mods in the future either, as it's a bit of a waste on the engine I have (would rather do up a GTA)

Oh and there was a dyno day on the Alfa forums I am on, in Sydney. The 2 litres outperformed the rule of thumb, and so did the GTA and GT, but no such luck for the 159 WITH exhaust which underperformed significantly and made less power than a standard one! (10kw less)

Rule of thumb = flywheel KW = wheel HP

When you get on the rollers and tied down..... we can all jump on the rollers and do a 'Fred Flinstone' run.... and you can clutch start it ! smile.gif

It may be worded wrong, But i'm sure the owner would be a pasenger in the car on the dyno?
I wish places would let me to nuts with the expencive dyno gear laugh.gif

hmmmm... ill know tomorrow if its gonna happen.. been a lot of hours mat the workshop so big thx to pauly @ option 1 for staying behind til 10pm working on my car wink.gif

even if i dont make it, at least it was an excuse to push the envelop on build time..

the current state of things:

i got a bigger turbo but i went to put it on and decided the old one was big enough.. i didnt realise just how big the new rear housing was til i sat it next to the old t04z..


anyways, ill be trying my best to make this..

Started the Torana for the first time last night, but can't get on the dyno until next week. sad.gif I will have to enter my tow car, Hilux turbo 3RZ. What sort of power do you guys think is going to take out the 4cyl turbo class?
