you could probably do that for under 2g's.

With mine I got extractors and that made a huge difference, I'm also gonna get a HSV intake and probably different injectors.

apart from that you'd be best asking some other people who have spent a fair bit on a VT/VX, but its pretty generic through out all commodores

No point at all replacing the injectors on a v6 unless you are planning forced induction or a stroker kit.

Sorry to say but you wont get all those things for under 2g brand new. I suppose you could source some second hand extractors for a few hundred and then get a 2.5" cat back exhaust fitted, which shouldnt cost more than 6-800 all up.
Then spend the rest on some rims and fitting/lowering/balancing etc.

Yeah you will be able to do that for round 2g

the spring cost about $75 trade price per set
a half decent 2, 2 1/2" will cost you round $250-$400. I got mine done at Rob bliss at geebung
than you have the rest to muck around with rims
a set of pacemaker headers will cost bout $700 fitted, but mine atm is only a twin system back and it has a really nice tone. it not droney and doesnt should like some crap vt i have heard

hope this helps smile.gif

and there is no point changin injectors unless you get a different pressure reg and have to computer tuned cus it will still think that it has standed injectors in it

what pirate pete said (haha) is pretty much right.
lower the springs more expensive it will be.
i have levelles in mine and my car is slammed (check in topics)
2 and half inch cat back will cost ruffly $250, pacmaker extrators $650 - $700, and a decent high flow cat wouldent have a clue.

you will have to shop around maybe get seconds is you want decent cheap rims.

should deffently be able to do under 2 grand thumbsup.gif

IF you're going to get aftermarket tail lights PLEASE get VX bootlid to match. I can't STAND seeing all the VT's with VX aftermarket tail lights and the VT boot garnish its hideous. And don't just paint the garnish either as it looks just as bad.

No wonder VT's/etc sound like crap no1 seems to bother getting a decent exhaust for them.

for $2000 with new parts? probably not. Decent wheels cost a few $'s and i'm not talking about those 50kg bits of crap from tempe tyres.

it's called mate's rates for painting the kit, got the kit off ebay, exhaust was done from a mate only cat back, stereo was from autobarn on sale, wheels were the biggest hit to the hip pocket, tail lights did myself, lowering was done properly by a mate and i not cut using quality parts, chrome door handles are actually chrome vynal so the jist of the work i did myself i did no power modz cause there's really no point on a v6 comodore unless you spend big bucks.

so its pretty easy really just stick to your budget and shop around for the best deal.

if you want a money breakdown of everything just let me know.

what a bullshit call, paying top dollar dosent mean the best quality, decent exhausts can be bought for around the price range quoted here from alot of small business with good quality reps and budget prices.

as for wheels theres nothing wrong with tempe tyres in my opinion, good looking wheels for affordable prices, granted there heavy and not what you get for the track/ sprintwork but great for a kid who is interested in getting good rims for a cheap price.

shop around just because people say that dearer=better dosent make it true.
