They want you to tow your car to the track(wank bank),but then they will start coming down on what is towing the trailer.

Only if the car on the trailer is registered and wearing plates, otherwise they cant do anything.

There is NO such thing as a legal car these days...
Unfortunately.

Even cars off the show room floor brand spankers can be defected.

Thats not true. Any car in factory condition as left the showroom has passed relevent ADR rules and testing, so as the vehicle comes standard in that condition, regardless of any laws it may break, it is legal for use on the roads in said condition.

so you are sayin that if i tow a 3 tonne car behind a astra there is nothing illegal,?but what if the astra is your only drive car and a chev is your drag car.How do i get the chev to the track???

as i was told by a police man i was talking to one night... and i quote this is what he said
"I could defect any car on the road I want to."
So yes, they could defect you for driving a completely standard car off the showroom floor.
It all depends on your attitude towards the police. Just talk to them and show that your interested as to why they pulled you over, I have never had a problem when i get pulled over. I seem to talk my way out of everything... lol

It can still be defected if the officer wishes to; in an event that it does occur, just take it back to the manufacturer and let them deal with it.

I always greet the officer before they greet me.

"Hey *smile* how are you tonight?"

All strings well even when an officer is in the shi7tiest mood.

last yr i read on the forums that people actually asked the cops if we could have somewhere to gather for car meets and it was agreed that bwcp was the place.. why are cops allowed to block it off and defect people if that was the case? thats not very fair..

Because they know dickheads take there unroadworthy/unregistered cars there........

I know it has been said before, but,

If you have a defective car and cruise the Hotspots/hangouts and get caught, it's your own fault people

Yeah ya @#$!, i could see ya driving away when the cop pulled in infront of me!

People head to the M1, thats fucked now, The broadwater, Cops all over that now, Yatla and other industrial areas are alos hot spots.. Lets just take it to housing estates, Seems cops dont go there. Lets go piss off elderly people and rip big skids and drift there.....

The thing is cars are going to go somewhere and it is not going to stop. Lets take it to the neighborhoods and really give the boys in blue something to worry about. They may rethink locking down places like the broadwater then, where its away from households and contained in one area where the majority of people are well behaved (apart from cletus and his mates from ipswich)

What a fucking stupid thing to say. Its dicks who do this in housing estates that give us a bad name. It sounds like the cops hit the BWCP cause of people being wankers in there.

If someone does a burnout or drifts past my house I wouldn't be fucking happy and you could expect a brick. Use your brains.

The best advice possible, is that there's a time and place for everything, and Broadwater Carpark is not one of those times, nor those places.

^^Yeah, i agree with that. If people choose to have a defective car, then they should prepare for the fines. After all, it's their own fault and not anyone elses. A lot of the times cops defect vehicles because its unsafe or bad for the environment. they're only looking out for ur safety smile.gif
hrm.. why is the car being too low a defect?

WTF crack are you smoking?

I never said towing a 3 tonne car behind an astra ISNT illegal, I said if the CAR ON THE TRAILER ISNT REGISTERED OR WEARING PLATES, IT CANNOT BE DEFECTED.

Slight difference there........

wink.gif

Your responsibilty to get the Chev to the track, call a tow truck or buy a tow vehicle. Cant afford either? Hows that supposed to be the Goverments/DOT/Polices problem?????

Because it drastically changes the way a car handles and if you crash up a gutter then the risk of flipping the car as it bottoms out on the gutter is higher, then you die instead of just fuking yourself up dunno.gif Oh and if you run over someone then they get dragged along under the car because they can't come out the back because of not enough clearance.

Not to mention the fact it changes all the suspension geometry and angles on the car, drops the vehicles centre of gravity and causes all sorts of issues and stress on suspension components/steering components.

Exactly if you want to do the suspension you need to sort out the geometry on everything. People that just whack a set of superlow king springs in irritate the hell out of me.

If you want it sitting low go get it engineered and do the work properly.

He mentioned that, now they're getting rid of BWCP, the car scene will migrate elsewhere, this time, to the worst places.

Why you would be stupid enough to not only think that, but to then allow yourself to type it up, and post it on an internet forum, really has me wondering as to your intelligence, or lack thereof.
There are so many things that could be written here, bit fuktards like you do not last long. The unfortunate thing is though, that when you come undone, you'll probably take someone innocent out with you.
Firmly grasp your keyboard, and repeatedly belt yourself over the head with it mate. Or better still, do us all a favour, and hand your licence in.
Dont you dare ever approach me if you see me out.
