With all the rain we have had you will also no doubt have put a shed load of water through it while driving around. It is for this reason I would suggest you replace the CV as well as the boot. Wayne will no doubt inform you that if you only replace the boot there is no guarantee how long the CV will last. The damage will already have been done |

Hey guys, just thought I would post a couple of bad pics of my 80 series. It has a Chev 6.5L V8 turbo diesel conversion. I also had a front mount intercooler put on it, and it made a huge difference. Hopefully later this year a lift kit and some wheels will be on the shopping list. Should make it one very tough truck. It has crazy amounts of torque from idle through to it's 3400rpm redline. And it's all mated up to the standard gearbox, so it's constant 4wd still. I did have to install a heavy duty clutch though cause it was just slipping in fourth under load. |

Nice Rig there B Unit, I've got a couple of mates who did the V8 deisel Chev conversion on their 75 series utes - the torque on those things is pretty awesome compared to the 6 cyl. Looks to be a neat fit too. |

QUOTE(Matt988 @ Jan 9 2008, 08:59 PM) I went for cruise up to the north coast the other day and fuck there looks like some fun tracks on the side of the M1. But i wasnt game enough to go in them without another fourby to help me out. Looked nice and boggy I did the drive to Noosa around boxing day and the ones leading into the Pine plantations look rather sticke, but fuck it'd be fun QUOTE(11_EVL @ Jan 10 2008, 05:36 PM) i tried but didnt work obviously Looks tops |

This is my 1997 nissan navara. So far I've raised it 2.5" and put 31" maxxis buckshot mudders on it...it does pretty well out in the bush but its certainly no patrol, haven't taken it on the beach as of yet but I'm hoping to go for a fishing trip to fraiser June/July this year......oh yeah and the cruiser is my fj45 ute thats good for a dick around in the paddock...shits all over the nav to tell you the truth lol |
