cheers

well im sposed to be goin to dbl island pt this weekend comin, so i wont be at cityview ;) . i wanna get it done asap, and will def not put in 4by till its fixed, so i think ill just take it easy where ever i go. i gave a bloke at ARB a call cause i have his mobile an he said, at a guess $140.

thanks again :)

Driving on it wont do squat what does the damage is that if it tore while playing in the mud and water it will have ruined the grease around the cv. With all the rain we have had you will also no doubt have put a shed load of water through it while driving around. It is for this reason I would suggest you replace the CV as well as the boot. Wayne will no doubt inform you that if you only replace the boot there is no guarantee how long the CV will last. The damage will already have been done :)

Hey guys, just thought I would post a couple of bad pics of my 80 series. It has a Chev 6.5L V8 turbo diesel conversion. I also had a front mount intercooler put on it, and it made a huge difference. Hopefully later this year a lift kit and some wheels will be on the shopping list. Should make it one very tough truck. It has crazy amounts of torque from idle through to it's 3400rpm redline. And it's all mated up to the standard gearbox, so it's constant 4wd still. I did have to install a heavy duty clutch though cause it was just slipping in fourth under load.

where was that??
that was chambers flat way,if you head out chambers flat rd,head to the mt lindsey roundabout turn off, turn right and head along for 1-2 k's its on your right near the tomato farm, then go along a few more k's and the floodway had about .6m of water on its shallowest side,i couldnt wash all the mud off so i went to waterford west and just chucked her into the logan river :) then went to car wash to wash salt off etc

saved me 20bucks so all is good. :)

Nice Rig there B Unit, I've got a couple of mates who did the V8 deisel Chev conversion on their 75 series utes - the torque on those things is pretty awesome compared to the 6 cyl. Looks to be a neat fit too.

thats a dam good idea hoon i love it. id question how much salt is left in that water anyway after the amount that found its way into the logan.

This is my 1997 nissan navara. So far I've raised it 2.5" and put 31" maxxis buckshot mudders on it...it does pretty well out in the bush but its certainly no patrol, haven't taken it on the beach as of yet but I'm hoping to go for a fishing trip to fraiser June/July this year......oh yeah and the cruiser is my fj45 ute thats good for a dick around in the paddock...shits all over the nav to tell you the truth lol[attachment=433805:attachment][attachment=433798:attachment][attachment=433803:attachment][attachment=433804:attachment][attachment=433800:attachment][attachment=433802:attachment][attachment=433806:attachment][attachment=433807:attachment][attachment=433806:attachment][attachment=433807:attachment]
