yeah i know the one now,if you go in there, you have the creek crossing too(dont do that you'll bog for sure) that little banana section you did,we watched a jackaroo stock go thru no worries then the larger pajero got stuck(momentarily) just gotta be careful as the QR/Ranger guys patrol that side.

old type as in?

the one we saw def had QR written on it,the ranger had the lights so no unmarked ones unless its QR workers etc
they have had alot of copper theft from the old lines along the railway lines from the old posts
copper at a trailer load is like a good 1-2k's worth,so be careful not to get caught.

the mushy creek bed has a few spots you can go thru theres one there it looks shallow but once your in it you sink  as my mate found out.

where all the bikes go in,or just up towards the servo

its pretty basic though now

and its not the only spots i frequent
KURABY,JOHNSON,BEENLEIGH,even used to head to the area behind kingston park raceway but its flattened now and only good for muddy bits etc

heres a list of a few places,i always get asked where they are so i did maps of em all with fine details.

southside:

KURABY:IPB Image
underpass near runcorn/kuraby station
accessible via entry points with no signs etc, tracks range from easy to moderate, rock climbs, rutts, creek beds and 1 or 2 bog holes

SPRINGFIELD:IPB Image
Spingfield College Drive:easy to hard, has great rutty climbs with a mixture of terrains ideal for intermediate to experienced 4wd owners

MT COTTON: opposite side of road between verner rd and schoek rd
west mt cotton road loganholme
accessible and no signs in designated entry points
tracks range from easy to moderate, rock climbs hill climbs few bog holes etc

Johnson road:IPB Image
brownsplains
no signs entry points via paradise and johnson/jones road
easy to hard tracks range from creek crossings to rutty hill climbs and abit of sand as well

Ormeau:IPB Image
accessible via upper ormeau road or water tower
easy to extreme depends whom you talk to really, covers basic climbs to waterfall track/rock climbs etc

Reedy Creek Quarry:IPB Image
REEDY CREEK:
access via old coach road
easy to moderate has a few nice bog holes and a nice up hill quarry hill climb

PAC PINES: IPB Image
access via entry point via roundabout at smith/pittcairn st's
tracks are easy to moderate with rutty hill climbs and thats about it except when wet very deep bog holes .

LOGANVILLAGE,pine forest via logan village
legal in some parts tracks are easy to extreme(extreme if you head outta bounds from memory) rutts and bog holes and climbs nothing a sierra wont do anyways.

BINNES RD(black dot):MONTEREA RD(green dot):BRYANTS RD(blue dot):
RIPLEY/YAMANTO IPB Image
or also known as ripleys just off ripleys rd off the hwy near yamanto track medium to hard depends where you wheel though.

glasshouse mountains:permit from memory isnt it? easy to hard

landcruiser park:most know this place as easy to hard $$$$$

black duck valley:gatton same as above:$$$$$

then you can go back south and head to beaudesert to city view 4wd park $$$$ and tracks are new but are easy to hard

crystalvale near murwillumbah NSW 20bucks a day is deadly when wet and is usually easy to moderate for most vehicles

emu park nsw 3hrs away though  easy to extreme Smile

then you got the islands fraser, double island etc but for south east stuff stick to my first post

narrangba (oakey flat road side)

MOST INFO IS 6MTHS OLD,so dont take it as gospel,i know a few now have signs etc but ppl use them day in and day out with no problems.
