Oh so Nissan arn't reliable, hmmm that's a new one. I will admit though that the 3 litre patrol motor is a POS, but the 4.2 hmm well need I say more. The 4.2 Toymota is ALMOST indestructible aswell.

The Puslux's are unbreakable because the non turbo diesel motor don't have enough power to break any part of the drive train, and don't have the balls to get enough speed to try anything stupid, you couldn't outrun an asthmatic junkie with one of those weapon's.

so many people reckon that luxes are unbreakable,do these sorts keep em on the bitchumen? do they give their 4wd any dirt road action,i think not!!!

That didn't make sense, but yeah the luxes are tuff, like I said before. BUT..... I have seen some get some serious damage from little things too.

Toyota, Nissan, Cruiser, Patrol, Luxy, Navara, I don't care what you drive, it's not what you drive it's how you drive it. Lets face it, in the hands of the same driver driveing the same lines, a Difflocked coil sprung Patrol with a 2 inch lift and 33's isn't going to get any further than a Difflocked Coil sprung Cruiser with a 2 inch lift on 33's.

I'm gunna go play in the sand this weekend and I'll take some happy snaps and post them up, might throw up some flex shots comparing with and without swaybars.

they are both good utes, i known people who use and abuse there nissans and swear they will never buy a fleet for work ever again. But of course nissans are better hey Mo Rat.

I personally couldnt care which one id buy, id love a 4.2TDI patrol ute, but they are way out of my price range and there is no way im getting in a shitty old shape nivara.

My dad has owned almost every 4wd you can think of./ from the Fj landcruiser to the v8 landcruiser and now the new TDprado, From the Boxy old 2.8TD patrol to the 4.2TD patrol wagon. All taken around australia in harsh enviroments and you know what. They all made it back in one piece.

get over it you Fools, they are both good machines made from japan. Every new model they bring out is bigger and better then the previous anyway

rust proofing with ERPS repairing some surface rust.

then its onto the gbox overheating issues which shouldn't be happening.

the trucks already got its fair shir of panel damage, and i dont cry why it happens....

nobody likes panel damage, but hey, if noone can expect to the tracks we do without getting panel damage.
i can handle it.. im really keen to have a shot at the bum crack in there too.

lol the bum crack is nothin on wat it use to be!... still hard but, i've never done it but have never tried either.
