went for an after noon drive today with a few blokes to go tackle this one hill called commando. some of you might know if from the coffs coast dvd that 4wdmonthly bought out a while back. we headed off at around 2pm and was into it within 5 mins. crawling up some hills looking over coffs harbour cbd. bloody great views and all within 5 mins off the highway. after a few muck around hills and a little creek crossing we headed off to the highlight of the day. the reason we were going out, for some of us to conqour the hill "commando" |

well about my mate in the frontera. he didnt quiet make it up the hill. just about at the top the steering rod on the passengers side gave way and broke. and mangaged to do a cv on the other side. |

decent breaking of steering cool photo, was under my car last night found out why she pissing out oil the front drive shaft seal in the transfer case is leaking like an open pipe took the shaft off but couldnt get the stupid flange off to get to the seal my gear puller wasnt strong enough! not happy |

ah yes the hill otis couldn't get up is called power lines. its about 5 mins drive behind my place. i havn't been down there yet but she is deff locker material that hill. yes we do pay the price for what we love but hey what else would you be doing. you gotta have a hoby and 4x4 seems to be an expensive one. but i spose thats the joys of it. |

ok no this isnt a 4wd its 2wd but i was kinda 4wding it out bak ages ago dads got a dirt pile up bak so i throught y not i was bored its a 1976 subaru front wheel drive 2 door coupe 1600 motor nd yeah. |
