EXCLUSIVE !!!

Some of the first pictures taken of Shigenobu Kumakubo's Evolution Lancer D1 car courtesy of Ivan at Hipower Racing (www.hipowerracing.com) !!!

On business in Japan he stops in to visit some of the biggest tuners in Japan who kindly invited him to the most recent D1 Event at Ebisu circuit.

    umm.. the evo engine isn't a 2.0 Litre MIVEC Turbocharged engine??? the turbo sits on the right side.. not up the front. dunno.gif

    Yes...

    His old wrx was still boxer layout but with his old S15 gearbox mated to the engine...

    Great work and Im sure Jerome would of loved it!

    nice pics bud, some pretty tuff looking rides there,

    no matter how hot or humid it gets over here these cats still where jeans or long pants, you can see some of them in the back ground

    The Eclipse GSX with the DSM motor was an AWD car, so the engine was also mounted in an east-west configuration.
