QUOTE(Rookie ROX @ Feb 8 2007, 09:36 AM) It seems odd that BENTLEY would be the one to go for $110k though. I understand Ferrari, but Bentley? Wish they'd throw some of that money over here ROCK ON R~R They have to cover for their small wang on way or another I have it on video as well as Q21 but dont have a program which accept's the file type - its a good watch tho as it climbs by a grand each bid, once it got to $100k a random guy on the phone came out with $101k |

Most Bently's are worth more than most Ferrari's so it makes perfect sense, it went up in $10k bids at one stage! Then the guy that backed out at $90k for Bentley paid $45k for a wildcard and got VANTAGE...he obviously has a few nice cars! |

Supposedly they are valued at $1m now. Or is that record just for sales by PPQ? |

Maybe it was a typo but im certain iv seen it... mmmm what a dick, as if anyone would pay it!!! A guy I went to school with, his mum has Q15 and has had for ages....would be worth $100k+ if Q21 went for $97k!! I don't think any old joe can just stick his plates in the auction either! |

QUOTE(BEWARE @ Feb 9 2007, 04:36 PM) I wonder if they'd go for that though, as the saying goes, something is only WORTH what someon else is willing to pay! it's more supply Vs. demand then simply saying its only worth what somone is willing to pay...there is only ever one plate, hence why some are worth so much...if Q1 is valued at 1 million, then im sure its insured for that much as well |

If I lose my number plate I go to Qld transport and they make me another for a small fee... Im pretty sure you could insure a number plate dont get me wrong, insurance company's would love for someone to do that but I am pretty sure YOU DON'T HAVE TO! but yea i would rather a bentley then a farrari... we are talking a 1 million dollar plate after all, its not like its the norm...its an investment, so i assume it would be insured. |
