Why did you not buy some mandrel bends to do the cooler piping. Not a fan of all those ugly welds. |

Not a fan of all those ugly welds. ive got alloy donuts but cutting them is a pain in the ass and getting them right is a time consuming process and its shitload cheaper just to buy a couple of mtrs of 3in pipe and cut little pieces off at 5 or 10 degree angles anyway all the hi hp power jap cars always lobster back alloy or titainmum piping |

Couple more days work and the transformation is complete Boot it has been hard out trying to finish it off as were trying to get it done for a run at jamboree Not expecting the best time, but more like a see what it does for now run. Doesnt help with having rock hard suspension (set up for drift) and low profile tyres. Suspension more suited to drag and more mods will be coming up in the folloing months. Off to smashies(dr. Kustom) on the 7th of Augaust to finish it off. |

QUOTE(NISMOgemini @ Sep 7 2006, 02:59 PM) looking good question - why didnt u just buy a bunch of aluminium donuts instead of cuting and shutting all the angles to make the bends?? coz i like welding ended up being easier (and cheaper) to cut up straight pipe at 5 degree angles than cutting up donuts |

Well to start off with just with a cat back exhaust, pods, intercooler and 14-15 pounds of boost will net ,e around 240-250 rwk with aftermarket computer would bank on about 260. Drive around like that for a while get a feel of the car again as its going on 10months now, change some things go different turbs, thinking about 2530's and going for 350rwk. Ive seen guys make more on standard internals but dont wana push my luck to far. But weel see what happens, if the tune is looking healthy ill go for a bit more. |

QUOTE(DR1F7 @ Nov 8 2006, 09:09 PM) Still atleast a 3inch off the dump pipe would be smarter. and let him waist $700 to do twin dump pipes to the cat i think he,d rather spend it on the turbo upgrade as he might change his mind on his choise on the new turbo(s) |
