Woah, I've missed the last 3 sets up until now! GP you have excelled yourself! There are some real beautys in there. Looking back at the last ones from Snapper, the watch tower shot is great but I couldn't help but feel like the bottom of the shot was cropped, I actually sat here waiting for the image to finish loading thinking there was a bit more on the bottom. |

Brilliant panning shots... At last, some non-spam panning shots! These are quality over quantity |

QUOTE(Ghetto Panda @ Nov 13 2006, 09:34 PM) Just two more drift ones and one i took today. With the third shot how can i make the background completely black?. Nice pics. What's the third one, some kind of seed pod or flower bud? Well composed . Do you really want to do more to it? |

I have no idea what kinda plant/tree it is i cut it back and now it's growing back. I just wanted to show just the one part might be a bit over down but i like it. |

Nice job Ghetto, perhaps increased shadow for definition inside the pod would look good. Maybe even use a flash from the side so u can get extra shadows. |

I really like them, you gotta love the contrast and quality you can get with film. Those 3 look really good. |

I did up the contrast a little in ps but by a very small about but i agree the quality even at full size is far better. |

So would it be accurate to take the photo in digital then once you are happy with the result take it on film with the same settings ?? |

maybe could have been shot with a slightly lower apature, the front on teh bud/leaf is out of focus and is distracting, either that or try a manual focus on something a little closer, because teh DoF usually extents 1/3 in front and 2/3 behind, so the foreground is always going to be harder to get in focus! |
