Engine: 186 red bored to a 192, steel crank starfire rods, ACL Flatties, Stage 4 head, 36/82 cam, Triple 1 3/4" SU's on Armours Long Runner Manifold

Exhaust: Extractors and 2 1/2" with 1 muffler...........

Suspension: Replaced stock

Wheels: 15" Volvo pursuit Rims (farkin hard to get)

Modifications: See above + Shift kitted Trimatic + 3500 Melva Convertor + B&M ProStick + Locked 3.55 centre


Stereo Audio / Visual: Who wants doof when you got triples

Estimated Power: 125kw

    the body wasn't as great as i'd like, but for $2k as a driver i was happy. And the engine and drivel;ine made up for what it lacked in looks. I have actually sold this car. I just found more old pics, so I thought i'll put them up. My HK is in the RHS of the bottom pic too

    I'm currently kicking myself for selling this car. I know the guy who has it now and i know for a fact he will not do anything to/with it. So, i'll save my pennies and bide my time

    Those mods would have a few 5litre boys a bit scared at the lightsN(maybe). Triple SU's are the way to go, either that or tripple webbers.....

    my dad had an XU-1 GTR with triple carbs and a worked motorthe sucking noise is the best sound in the world

    fucken killa mate go the torries! Lovin those tripple SU's mate. If you got that car for 2000 that is the best buy you will ever have! Those carbies are worth over half of what you paid!

    I bought the car completely stock for 2K

    In total, as it sits in the pics, probably owed me $5,000 - $5,500

    mate dont forget it's been 20 years since carbies were phased out
    half these youngens on here probably havent even seen a carby haha

    I like the look of this, top work man, and your right who needs a stereo when you can listen to triple carbs

    3500 melva convertor haha so it could be anywhere from a 3000-4000rpm
    or did you get a 3500 but you ordered something else

    Cheers bud, I know this will sound strange, but I ordered a 3500 convertor and Melva actually did a good job.

    As for the carbies, I hear ya on that one. Most of the kids on here couldn't find it let alone tune one....
