Alright guys finally made a date for the 4wd cruise. We will be cruising down to City View 4WD Park (City View 4wd Park) for a day of fun 4WDing. City view is located roughly 10 mins out of Beaudesert ( Brisbane UBD Page 331 - Ref D12 - Sandy Creek Rd), nice and close to everybody so nobody has to waste too much fuel.

Rather than have a Northside/Southside meeting spot, I propose we all meet at a central location to leave for City View. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of the Shell service station on Granard Rd, Rocklea. Plenty of parking there and close to Beaudesert rd and central to most people. Any other suggestions are more than welcome though. Price at this stage depending on numbers is $25 for vehicle and $5 per person (yet to be confirmed and dependant on numbers will be cheaper). There are approx 65klms of touring tracks and numerous 4wd trails. There are 4 main areas for the more challenging 4wding with creek beds, hill climbs and rock to play on. Should be a good day and is open to all makes of 4WDS with all types of mods, or none. There is a good mixture of Begginer and Intermediate trails there so dont be afraid if youve never gone 4WDing before.

Items suggested for the day would be a UHF, either handheld or hardwired, spare wheel (youd be suprised how many forget this) and all the usual sort of gear you wish to take. If your interested in coming, but dont have a 4wd let us know, I myself should have a spare seat or two. If JustDave has nothing on he has expressed interest in coming as well, so there should be some good photographs of the day. Got just over a month people to get ready, let us know so we can arrange approx numbers with the park admin.

Wasnt that cruise cancelled? I thought it was. Alternativly if it does clash, we can re date it. Sticky (200sx) is def in, Im in, you, see if you can drag some of the CB people out as well, should be a good fun day.

im still chasing Nos so HSV is this def going to happen?

what will the terrain tracks we'll be taking are we expected to do
easy to moderate
moderate to hard
hard to extreme?

Well it will dependant on the vehicles that turn up, im not goin to limit it just to a particular level of driving for everyone, if people want to do extreme tracks etc then theyre more than welcome to. I have same, will be purchasing new snatch strap before the day. Is def going ahead at this stage, theres nothing clashing with dates atm

About 5 of us.

i cant drive me lux cos i got no licence so im riding with a mate.

between outers,downunder4x4,4wdmonthly,and CB and here you can almost pic a day/week or month and someones going out that way.

i say we keep to the date as to not confuse ourselves or others.

just came back from there 2day my mates new hilux got filled with water, he was PISSED OFF, lol. lots easy tracks there,

make sure you guys check the comp area out, nice playground there.

Umm unsure, was just going to rock straight down beaudesert rd all the way to beaudesert nearest junction there is the logan motorway part i think.

And yes i am still in will be a bit of a different form of driving for us ben use to a low car going fast not a high car bouncing around lol got new tyres put on the 4x4 today so they should still be in good nick for this.

Ok went up to City View on sat to help cut some new tracks. Lots of fun. If you dont want your ride scratched, dont bother coming, theres heaps of new tracks and some great hill climbs as well. I need to know a approx amount of numbers so I can let Peter from City View know how many we have coming. Was a top day on Sat and im betting the one we have planned here will be too.
