Well that was good.. Turn onto moss st. See a cop that had pulled over a r33 with the bonnet up. I couldnt be bothered with the hassle and went home..

I hope no 1 on here got their behind handed to them on a silver platter..

Maztec, damn straight. But even if you're not on a low income, you should have a chance. There was a stock Mazda 2 there ;-)

I don't think many people were pulled over or defected. Only if you were hooning down the street showing off. If you just parked it and watched the show you were right. Didn't see mr plod much at all.

MYt88's 1st run was very close to bouncing of the dyno of 618rwhp or so think it ended up with 628hp bigest i seen

Was a good day, the power cruise Kingswood made 725hp(I think)
There were a few hondas making around 170ish
I ran the evo in fwd and it toasted the rollers and broke a strap and made 389 on low boost

POV Honda's were 146hp(b18c) 170hp (k20) 150hp (unsure). My Hyundai coupe 4cyl NA was 188hp... not. I wish haha. That green monster was a show stopper, massive turbo.

mine had issues tonight, only made 265hp but that kingswood that made around 725hp was only running 4psi. insane, the turbo hangin off it was rated to 2500hp could fit your head in it.

i got on about 6oclock, made 138.5hp put of the lancer again pushing crap load of black carbon out, man the dynos were wierd, they had a stock N/A vl nothing done bar exaust made 145HP at wheels and a SSS pulsar that made 155hp at the front wheels and it was a sr20de with from what i could hear extractors exaust and cai. and then the civics coming back with like 170hp 148hp i was like wtf they sounded almost stock, alot of surprizes.
yeah those cops had like both ends of moss street blocked off searching cars i was at teh servo filling up and they pulled over a stock celica and got him to pop his bonnet

oh man that mazda 2 was cool.

that r33 wasnt white with a shopping list was it, he was asked to go over the pits with defects, but no points.

turned up at 6.30 and a few cars were on there. got to say, those puttin out somethin like 90-130hp really were a waste of time.

would of been better to see cars with more power get on it.

tried to get mine in but they wouldnt allow for me to do it over the phone which sucked and they only had 3 positions left. i can see why - bunch of low powered cars took up the majority of the list.

While I get where you're coming from I also think you knew this could be a possibility.

The dyno day was open to 'anyone' not invite only as some dyno days are. For the price people wanted to get on and see what there stock or otherwise cars would make.

i think you will find a lot of the low powered cars would be cars like civics and tegs. most of the poeple that do this may have been getting a base read out as they may be interested in moding and seeing what performance changes they are getting out of the mods. i have a base tune chart and a ecu installed retune chart. its personal choice not what other people what to see. but it is a shame you didn't get on

yes it was a massive day and i was 1 of the last entries and entered just before 3pm.... tongue.gif
there was just over 70 cars run on both dynos which is heaps of cars for 1 day and a great effort by the pro torque dyno boys... thumbsup.gif .

i won the rotary blown class with high 600,s but had some dramas with turbo stainless gasket blowing out meaning 100 less power to wheels....oh well all fixed now and bring on the next one....

does any have pics of my rx3 as i dont have any or even vids to put up....cheers dunno.gif hsdance.gif

Was hoping to see more from the Powercruise Kingswood....someone said he was only running low boost... tho,...724rwhp on low boost, I'd be happy with that..... beer.gif

70 + entries, all in one day, top effort tp all involved.

Pleased I was there to see some of it....next up.....

there was definately some hot examples there yesterday,some bloody nice cars too i might add, cheers for the results can't wait for the next event whatever it may be.

Lol the couple of civics and integras that are there would most likely beat or go very close to beating your evo round QR.

I have to agree it was a great day and reasonably well organised in the end. Although i had to wait till 3rd last to get my car on the dyno after they decided to run all the FWD cars except me and two other guys sad.gif But in saying that i took out highest HP 4 cylinder NA and agree with others the prizes were great.

Props to the organisers and sponsors, i hope there is more to come in the future. thumbsup.gif

A think a fair few ppl got picked up by the boys in blue because i heard they had all exits covered at one stage and were pulling ppl over and defecting them, they were being pretty generous tho from what i heard, which i guess is fair but also them being there revenue raising probly wasn't the best for public relations....

All in all good day and well done to the winners of the other categories and everyone else who entered or came along for a look smile.gif

finished 3rd in 6 cyl blown with 451HP.

the torque curve on the mazfix RX7 was insane, it tried to jump off the rollers when it hit 580 horses! biggrin.gif

bro just for the record, i had nothing to do with this event, i just no a couple of the organisers, and all i was suggesting is that as it is a DYNO COMPETITION, that cars with mods that actually make a difference to power beyond 2 kw at the rear from ya pod and cat back, should enter the comp. yes it was open to all, which i would interpret as all who have an actuall increase from stock power. i didnt even go to teh fucken thing.

and before you start goin on with ya bullshit about me just buying a "fooly sik car" thats already done up casue i have heaps of money,and hiring a dyno with my mates then, winge about having a stock car with big plans, learn the truth of my past. i bought mine stock as a rock, and drove it around delivering pizzas for dominos....... i have now got a decent job, whilst still studying at uni and over the past 3 years have built it up to wat it is today...

besides, u can go to a dyno any day of teh week and c wat power your car makes for liek 40 bucks, so y enter a competiton, r u gona race in jambo this year too?

judging bu the feedback from the event, looked like there did end up being sum time wasters...... nice!!!

well it wasnt really time waisters becuase from what it was advertised there was a FWD na 4cylinder, and rwd na 4cylinder
which after alot of people payed for it found out that it was only 4cylinder NA with no drive class,

so some people going there might have thought becuase there isnt man fwd turbo cars there 150hp turbo fwd car would win but only to find out that there were vsing silvias and stock cars that make over 170hp standard

also i didnt really take what some people got as gospel, i stock vl wagon hoped on and made 145hp, thats is a stock NA 6cylinder with an exaust system,

i didnt really see any dyno setup what so ever like u see at other dyno comps where they change all the settings depending on power and all that stuff, like u see at autosalon if the car isnt making enough or is makign to much power they change the dyno speed, to go with that, some guys had there cars dynoed like two days before the event but hoped on the dyno there and made substantial less amount,

like im not saying it was a bad day besides the cops taking advantage of the day to get some revinue raising done but cant wait to see how the next one is run
