OK i drive a 89 Daihatsu Charade G100. i just replace the batery terminals after the negative broke but i drove around for months with the cracked terminal. yesterday just before i replace the terminals i notice that if i pumped my system it would turn the head deck off. the system consist of 2 amps one 4x75w and the other a 400wrms two channel that powers my 15 inch sub. when i turned all my system off today i went on a drive trying to charge my battery again. when i put my foot on the brake the indercators turn off same when i putr my wipers, head light or anything on. is it the battery(replaced about 6or7 months ago) or have i fried my alternator. regards, Nate -------------------- Cars: 87 VL 308 350rwhp

If u are having problems WHILST driving, then your battery really shouldn't come into it, as u can start your car and take the battery out and it will still run. |

Not necessary to go over the top when wiring. To supply so much power, wiring will need to be so big, but it is common for people to go way overboard, which simply wastes $. Sales people will always try to sell you bigger than you need and will tell you that you will loose quality without it, but it is simply to make some more $. Battery does still play a part when your car is running. It acts as a filter for everything electronic. If you have a loose connection you will get voltage spikes, which can cause your car, especially if is newer, to 'stall'. |
