Autobarn Dyno Day - Logan City Moss St, Slacks Creek

Come along to one of the biggest dyno days that Queensland will ever see. The guys at Autobarn Logan City will be holding this event at there store on Sunday August 27th at 3pm and will keep going till all entrants have been run.

The set up will be as follows: The fit bays at the back of the store will be transformed in to the dyno boths for the day, with 2 dyno's running at once. While you waiting for your run or spectating you be entertained by some of the best DJ's in town spinning tracks to get you in the mood. Also you can have a look at some of the phatest show cars around on display for your viewing.

DETAILS: It is free to watch and the store will be open till 4:30pm to buy all your performance bits for your car.
Entry in the dyno comp is $25 which gives you 2 complete runs. These 2 runs will decide your overall power output. The classes are as follow:
4 cyl - N/A
4 cyl - turbo/supercharged
6 cyl - N/A
6 cyl - turbo/supercharged
8 cyl - N/A
8 cyl - turb/supercharged
Rotary - N/A
Rotary - Turbo/supercharged

N/A = Naturally Aspirated.

Each Class has CASH prizes with a first prize of a complete Sidchrome tool chest.

cool tongue.gif question..can just standard non turbo cars do the dyno? (cause u have n/a) and to me thats not available tongue.gif ..correct orrrrrr?

A few questions.

Will the dyno sheet show Air/Fuel Ratios?

If so, I'm keen on putting my car on the dyno - by that time I should have the basics done..... front mount blah blah blah etc etc wee woot.

so we have till 430 to buy as many stickers as possible , u guys remember is 10kw per sticker. LMAO

nah just jokeing will see what the lancer is doing and might see if i ll bring her down. with two dynos and a DJ aint that gonna draw alot of power, hopefully it doesnt happen like X torque where all the power outputs are wrong and gcas becuase the power output isnt enough

definatly 2wheel dyno

N/A is meant to mean naturaly aspirated, azza just stuffed up haha

and its a dyno comp, sooooo putting your stock 3 cylinder upagainst big horse power cars is just gona waste peoples time, if you want a power figure refer to the owners manual

theres 2 dynos running and about 60 cars are gona get a go i think

Sorry guys i haven't been online in a while. They are rear wheel dynos, i dont know yet about the air/fuel ratio readings or not. And yes n/a meant naturally aspirated. Ill try and get some more answers to your questions asap. cheers

There will be dyno print outs but no they dont have air/fuel ratios on them.

is there going to be some big horsepower cars attending? cos if everyone wants to put there standard cars on just to see what they do its gonna be one boring event.

nothing worse than waiting 10mins to strap down a fairly stocko car for 100kw run.

Yeah all the big performance workshops have been sent a personal invite, so where hoping that a few big cars will turn up.
A few of mates are going on and they make from 200Kw up to 500Kw. unfortantly my car wont be finished by then so we wont see hugh horse power, LOL!!! (13B, bridge port, Garret Gt42R and C16, hoping for about 550hp at wheels in a Mazda 1300. Who's up for a wheelstand! lol)

Anyway should be a good day, hopefully a bit more exciting than the usual sunday arvo spit cruise!
