gorgeous! i envy your location (or willfullness to travel)

some of those shots are absolutely brilliant..

I'd say in a few years, you should be holding your own exhibitions to show off your work!

your waterside landscape shots are amazing, keep up the good work biggrin.gif

Matty B, WA is a very big place, so yeh, it involves a bit of travelling, but i dont mind, i love driving and taking photos so its all good.

anyway, this is a shot i thought i would try out, its not that good, but hey, they rnt all perfect.

Cheers

Hey Fish
I agree with g8keeper guy in the advice about horizons. Basic composition skill is a rule of thirds. Divide the photo into thirds horizontally and vertically and in stead of having the subject of your photos in the center, line them up in the thirds.... tends to be a little more eyecatching... but you probably know that now anyway wink.gif
Btw love the first shot of the car. The water looks great.

on the jetty one I used an f. number of 25, ISO 800 and a shutter speed of 2.5 seconds.
On the silouhette of the girls I used F.29 and exposure of 1/6sec

I agree, they r not the best.

Its not her's, its the other chick's. dont listen to her...
Yeh Nickle and her friend ange took numbers 3 and 4. I wasnt sure if they actually wanted credit. or in the case of these shots. Blame.

Nicle, u put some of ur shots up in ur own thread...
She's good. Nickle, unlike myself, actually know lots of shit about photography, but she uses film SLR's to do it so they are few in number but very high it quality. Yay more from WA! (wow that rhymed... how gay!)

Cheers Nic.

Postman, no filter, its better without one because you get the nice blue glare off the top of the water rather than whn u use one and you can see through the water.

Cheers guys

fair enough. my polariser is in the mail.. was just wondering if that was how you could see in the water at the bottom of frame.

Yeh, i see what you mean, that would be what a gradiating polariser would do, mine was just because the water was so shallow at the bottom of the shot.
