Kmart tyre and auto centres will match any prices on tyres and their service is excellent(well at the hyperdome it is anyway). whats more you get free rotation every 10,000 kms on a set of tyres and they give you voucher for free coffee while you wait for your tyres to be fitted. Just a small jesture but that can make a difference. |

I went to Beaurepairs and got a set of 16" 205/45 Simex 8200. These tyres were the second top performance when I got them and they only cost $500 for the set of 4! (check out simex at www.simextyres.com.au |

Sean at coomera tyre world, always done good by me! ovl666 told me to go there a while ago and i paid $100 per tyre for yokies for my cortina. He gave me the wheel alignment for free too and that price was 50/tyre cheaper than anywhere else. PLus the guy is a champ, i always go there from now on |

try yokohama A539 or the ES100 they arent the cheapest tyre in the world, but everyone that i have spoken to raves bout them, really good in the wet apparently, most of yokohamas range is good, or a michelin MXV8 they are pretty good also. i have said this before and i will say it again, you pay for what you get. |

my bridgestone potenza's were the best tyres i ever had gripped so well in the wet or dry mind you they were extremly expensive street slicks with a bullshit tread pattern and extremly soft compund very very nice tyres i highly recomend them |

Agreed, Yokohama is the shit. I have A008 on the mini (hit those corners hard!), ES100 on my R33 (A million times better than the Federals the car came with) and the old man has A539s on his Commodore and can't stop raving about them. You do pay for what you get and that being said, I won't be smoking the ES100s to much! |

I run Dunlop w10's and Dunlop Formula RSV's on the Celica, been through a few sets of them and found them very good. Ran out of my stocks for them so atm it looks like a set of Falken Azenis will be thrown on. |
