Thats crazy good. How do you get pics like that ahaha. I also agree, it is very hard to find time with work, family, hobbies and this but I MUST MAKE TIME. I got a 18-55mm and a 55-250mm lens. Which would be best to start off with and all are you pictures free standing or on a tripod? cheers dude, I've only been shooting landscape type pics since probably april?? got my camera in march...honestly just read, research, ask questions and practise.. i dont consider myself as good, but every shot is a learning curve for next time thats the same kit as I have.. I use the 18-55 for my shots, but it is limited, I still find I struggle with the quality I want..but I know i'll get there if It wasn't for getting married in december, i'd get me a full frame and proper wide-angle lens I've got a tripod, you cant do long exposure without one really, especially nights with exposures of 30sec plus...if you're serious invest in a mint one!! I got a manfrotto 290 series for $290..saves me buying 10X$20 ones, and risking my camera What filters are you using and are you using photoshop? Hey, I do have a set of no brand ebay ones, purely for learning purposes I use lightroom 4.1, it has an awesome gradient filter tool!!! |

Milky way shot on the 1st page is mint man! love it. as well as the other cityscape shots. Cheers dude BTW I love your pics...I've been meaning to comment, just get distracted!!! Lol i just purchased a tripod off ebay for $30 >.< Once i get it i will get out about in ipswich lol see if i can get some shots going. haha Just be careful, dont wanna risk and expensive camera by being cheap on a tripod..and if your doing alot of work with it then you wanna know its secure. I had mine getting hit by whitewater bout 30cm high and it just stayed there.. love it AAAAAAAAND another 2 SS Dicky shots for ya haha SSDickySepia by Bhunzz, on Flickr SSDicky-3 by Bhunzz, on Flickr |
