Most of those software losses dont really bother me.. i dont use media center, play cards or desktop gadgets.. no floppy drive
on my laptop anyway and also i already use VLC to watch my movies on if i watch them on pc..
as far as automaticly downloading updates mine does that now anyway.. so no big deal..

and that link for the movie Alpha posted was Liam Neeson's new movie Run all Night.

I had to put VLC on my computer,as it wouldn't play a few of the movies that the Mrs aquired, but before when I was on here,it was as glitchy as shit, couldn't multi quote. So when I came back to post again, all the vids up to that semi on fire had gone,I did watch that Liam Neeson trailer before, that's when I asked you if you'd watched John Wick

Didn't see that post. Yer I've seen John wick. Actually wasn't to bad.

Funny I watched John Wick and The Equalizer pretty close together, and both being Russian mafia themed,it was funny to see a lot of the same 'bad guy' actors in both movies

Doc
Post #8964

yer that happens quite often.. some actors just have that trait when they best suit certain rolls and always play that character in movies.

Especially if you're built like a brick shit house, covered in neck tatts, and have the odd eye/ear missing,Bank Manager,no but we do have a movie coming that needs Mafia muscle extras
Even that Liam Neeson is getting type cast in his movies, good to see he's not protecting his daughter for a change

kinda like Hector from FnF.. he always plays a gang member type

stupid windows media player usually needs some universal all in one codec program to get it working with downloaded content, even them i've had a couple of instances where the sound wouldn't work on my computer yet it played fine out in the lounge on the wdtv.

lol, the amount of time he goes for the handbrake lever and you think he's going for another gear.

you wouldn't want to be smashing gears anyways, not if he were still utilizing a standard mazda box. they handle a reasonable amount of power, but once you start talking 400rwkw and loading them up / launching etc then you're going to have problems.

Fallout 4 Officially Confirmed for PC, Xbox One, PS4

Get your first look at the latest entry in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG franchise.
by Tamoor Hussain on June 3, 2015

Bethesda has officially revealed Fallout 4 , the latest edition in the open-world RPG series, set to ship on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

The game's official website, which went live slightly ahead of schedule, shows box art for the title, and also confirms that the game is current-gen only, and will not be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Although it also features a video, which is presumably the cinematic trailer, this is not available to watch yet. The video is scheduled to go live 7 AM PT (3 PM UK time).

GameSpot will be updating this article with new information, screenshots and video as they become available.

FURIOUS 7 SET TO BECOME THIRD-HIGHEST GROSSING FILM EVER

Sorry Avengers, but the Fast and Furious are a (human) force to be reckoned with.

It would seem that 2015 is the year of the Giant Franchises That Could, with not one but two gigantic blockbuster franchise film installments hitting the highest-grossing movies list.

Furious 7 -- the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise -- is the first film to make the existing top 10 eat their turbo-charged exhaust fumes.

Within 17 days of opening, Furious 7 sped past the $1 billion global box office mark, making it the fastest ever film to gross that amount.

According to Box Office Mojo, since opening in April this year, the movie has grossed $1.51bn at the global box office, which means it now resides as the fourth-highest grossing movie of all time -- bumping Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II (2011) from the coveted fourth place (Harry has a measly $1.342bn in global takings).

With Furious 7 expected to continue its current trajectory, the film is predicted to over take 2012's The Avengers to become the third highest grossing film ever by the time its theatrical release ends. (Avengers currently resides in spot three with $1.518.6bn.)

Which leads us to the second film of the Giant Franchises That Could for 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Also released in April this year, the second movie in the Avengers box office-winning franchise, Avengers: Age of Ultron is currently sitting in sixth place on the list, with $1.321bn in global box office takings so far.

Director James Cameron's films Avatar (2009) and Titanic (1997) both still hold first and second spots on the highest ever grossing movies list with $2.788bn and $2.187bn respectively. Which means that despite the overwhelming popularity of Furious 7, there's still a long way to go first, second and third in the highest-grossing movies race.

pretty much, not sure why they're bothering to keep the concept going. well yes i do know why, it's called money. but ff7 would have been a fitting enough end, and to start afresh with something inspired by the franchise, but with different actors.

here we have yet another fine example of an american man exercising his lawful rights........

the news reports video is in the link. i've added a youtube clip of footage shot by Jim Cooley, interesting how he deals with the police officer....... laugh.gif

Georgia Man Defends Carrying Loaded Rifle Through Airport

A man roamed the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport last week with a rifle in hand and it was perfectly legal, according to police.

Because of a year-old Georgia law, Jim Cooley says he knew he wasn't breaking any rules dropping his daughter off at the airport with his AR-15 in tow, fully loaded with a 100-round drum.

Cooley of Winder, Georgia, was questioned by a fire marshal and then by an Atlanta police officer in the unsecured areas of the airport, who both asked him about the gun, he told ABC affiliate station WSB-TV. He says he was just exercising his rights, and recorded each of the encounters and posted them to YouTube.

When stopped Thursday, Cooley asked authorities whether he was being detained. When the officers each answered no, he simply continued on his way.

An Atlanta Police report obtained by ABC News reads, “At no time was Mr. Cooley deprived of his ability to leave property or freely move around the airport with the weapon. Officers followed to assure the safety of all patrons at the airport.”

Cooley told the TV station, "I told her [the officer] I was carrying this for safely when she asked me why. It shouldn't matter what I carry, just that I choose to carry. You never know where something might happen."

He added: “If you don’t exercise your rights, the government doesn’t have any hesitation taking them away.”

Cooley did not immediately respond to ABC News’ request for comment.

The Georgia state law took effect July 1, 2014, allowing a permitted citizen with a handgun or a legal long gun to carry the licensed weapon in commercial airports, bars, schools and churches.

Under federal law, however, it’s illegal to carry any weapon into the TSA screening area or beyond, which Cooley did not attempt to do. Guns are also not allowed in certain other restricted areas at commercial airports.

2015 Ford Torino GT!!!! How Long Have We Waited For This???!!!

Ford production of model called Torino began in 1968, 1968 Torino had a regular six-cylinder engine of 3.3 liters, the V8 on the other hand was offered in 4.7 and 4.9 liters, V8 of 6.4L, and V8 engine of 7.0L. Next came a model 1970 New Torino who had multiple versions.

The Torino GT had the 7.0L engine and was the basis for a NASCAR race car, which successfully competed. The 2015 Ford Torino GT will be amongst the most demanded muscle cars once it is released to the market.

The new Ford Torino will be powered by a 5.0 liter V8 Ti-VCT engine from Ford Mustang GT. This engine will be able to produce 435 horsepower, and 400 lb-ft of torque. It will go from 0-60 mph within four seconds and the top speed will be 170 miles per hour. This engine is also expected to have a more economical fuel consumption (15 city/25 hwy) compared to similar cars and therefore it is an idea car for people who look at fuel economy.

The 2015 Ford Torino GT is anticipated to be released during the late months of 2015 and its price is expected to be about $40,000.

Watch The Witcher Buy a PS4 in This Funny Video
"The Witcher is looking for the world's most powerful console."
by Eddie Makuch on June 3, 2015

PlayStation Poland has released a funny new video focused around The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the PlayStation 4. Watch as Geralt of Rivia, the hero of The Witcher 3, embarks on new quest, not to slay a griffin or vanquish otherwordly creatures, but to buy the "world's most powerful console."

"You never know what order can happen at witcher trail," reads a line from the video's description. "The most important thing is to have the strongest possible equipment."

It's quite funny. My favorite part is probably when Geralt tries to buy the PS4 using gold coins. The ending is also quite amusing and surprising. Check out the full video below.

I laugh when I see flash rims on super low profile tyres. Rims are gutter rashed to buggery in three months. I know it makes me sound like an old fart but I just don't see the point in making a car undriveable on the street. I see blokes all the time who can't negotiate a speed bump.
