I use spotify exclusively when I am driving and want to listen to something. I don't download music anymore which is pretty funny.
I have found boom crash opera, cannot find superheroes and no axe to grind

I hope they are used for track and not just for stance purposes

Demand for 2015 Ford Mustang tops 2000 orders

Showing that Australians still like muscle, a staggering 42% of the 2000 deposits already taken for the new 2015 Ford Mustang are for the V8-powered Mustang GT. The remaining orders are for the EcoBoost-powered Mustang.

“We are so excited to launch Mustang in Australia and see how people respond to its iconic, magical looks and performance,” said Graeme Whickman, President and CEO, Ford of Australia.

“Just like in America, we are seeing great early demand for the V8 GT models. But, we think the EcoBoost model will be a bigger seller longer term and help sustain sales longer than most performance cars as people see its great combination of performance and fuel economy.”

According to Ford, several Mustang enthusiasts, including members of the various State-based Mustang clubs, have also ordered more than one variant of the famous car. One customer has six orders to his name while a sportscar rental company has placed an order for 20, the biggest single order so far.

“The buyer response for the 2015 Ford Mustang has been extraordinary,” said David Blackwood, Dealer Principal of the Bayford Group in Victoria.

“As soon as Ford announced Mustang was coming to Australia (in December 2013) our phones started ringing. A few customers even made deposits before pricing and specifications were confirmed. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. And, it’s opened doors for us to have conversations with potential owners about the broader Ford range, like our first-class SUV line-up, as well.”

Australian customers overwhelmingly have favoured Race Red as the most popular colour choice, followed up Absolute Black and Magnetic.

Ford also confirmed the Performance Pack will come standard for all Mustang models. This package includes “K Brace” under the bonnet to secure the suspension strut towers to the bulkhead; unique chassis tuning; upsized rear sway bar on the Fastback and heavy duty front springs.

Performance Pack Features:

•Unique Chassis Tuning;

•Upsized Rear Sway Bar (Fastback); and

•Heavy Duty Front Springs.

2.3-litre EcoBoost

Shared: Dangerous operation of a vehicle charge, Caboolture

A man has been charged with a number of driving offences following the alleged dangerous operation of a vehicle which commenced in Springwood and ended in Caboolture.

It will be alleged that just after 11pm last night police received reports of a vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner on the Pacific Motorway around Springwood. The vehicle was alleged to be travelling at high speed and without its lights on and at times to be travelling north in the southbound lanes of the motorway.

Police will allege the vehicle was observed to then travel on the Gateway Arterial Road in a dangerous manner again at high speed and travelling north in southbound lanes.

It will be further alleged the vehicle has continued to be driven in a dangerous manner on Gympie Road and that police have then successfully deployed stingers on the Bruce Highway leading to two tyres of the vehicle being deflated.

The vehicle has then come to a stop a short time later and the man was arrested by police.

A 28-year-old man from Saint Helens was charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle, two counts of failing to stop and one count each of driving under the influence of liquor, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property and driving without a licence.

He is due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
Investigations into the incident are continuing

Brazil: CCTV catches gunfight between off-duty officer and armed carjacker

The dramatic moment an off-duty Brazilian policeman shot dead one of three armed robbers who broke into his home garage to steal a car has been captured on camera.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident depicted in the clip that went viral online.

The security camera footage shows the officer, who has not been named, driving a white vehicle into the garage of his home in the Jardim Patrícia district of Uberlandia, a city about 400km south of Brasilia.

As the automatic door begins to shut behind the car and the policeman's wife is about to step out of the passenger seat, three men force their way into the room.

One, holding a gun, rapidly approaches the driver's door and moves to open it. He is however surprised by the officer who quickly draws his weapon.

The two men open fire almost simultaneously, with the robber having the worse of it. He is seen fleeing with his two accomplices after being hit, seemingly in the chest, while the policeman chases them to the door.

The wounded attacker, identified as Eliseu Santos Paulo, 32, later died at a city hospital, local media reported.

Investigating authorities said they have identified the other two robbers who however remain at large.

They are to submit the result of the probe to a local judge, who will then decide whether to press any charge against the policeman.

The local deputy police chief, Samuel Barreto, defended the officer, describing him as a dedicated veteran with more than 25 years of service, and said he acted in self-defence.

"Given the circumstances, if my officer didn't shoot, he could be the one who is dead now," Barreto told broadcaster G1. "In the online video you can see [the robber] opening fire on him and his wife".

The attempted robbery reportedly happened on 14 May.

Great that Qld won but what is going on with this game? Penalties for tackles that are non-threatening but just slightly past horizontal, AFL type push and shove, no shoulder charges and why don’t they just remove the use of scrums because they don’t even pack down any more. Since when has a player had a casual chat to a commentator while walking off the field at half time? This is not the game I remember but maybe I’m just showing my age. Another 10 years and we’ll be watching touch football.

Worst origin I've seen and won't watch the rest. Pre-game entertainment a joke, game riddled with errors like a holden cup game, poor refereeing and the commentary was terrible. So much hype about nothing.
