"He was not in pain before he passed and was surrounded by his family and close friends. "Cricket Australia kindly asks that the privacy of the Hughes family, players and staff be respected." Hughes has been in an induced coma since the accident on Tuesday afternoon. While he seemed to compose himself, the former Test opener leant forward, put his hands on his knees and, after a few seconds, suddenly collapsed head-first on to the pitch. My car got hammered by hail yesterday. Dints all over the roof, boot, bonnet and some on the doors. Windscreen is broken too. Sitting in traffic couldn't even move and by the time I could most of the damage was done, not that there was any shelter nearby anyway. Lodged an insurance claim online and waiting for them to call me, I reckon it will take a while though! |
