Boxing Day,so did we have a good one, socks n jocks, for me (what else do you give to an old fart),with the proviso I chuck my old ones out, fcuk that! unsure.gif

i offered my old undies to some female friends, they had this weird look on their faces as they declined, like their was something wrong with the idea.......

told them, i'll be famous one day, you'll regret this for the rest of your lives, not being able to say that you've been in my undies........

bitches will have to pay for them now.

Don't waste your time/ download with the Butler.. One of the worst movies I've seen this year.
I can't remember the last time I watched a movie and walked away thinking "wow that was a really good movie"

Some other ones to avoid,

Fruitvale Station
So this is Christmas
Kick ass 2 was watchable
Alan Partridge
Surviving Christmas
Getaway ( possibly a contender for the worst movie 2013 )
Paranoia

Some of the not so bad ones
The Wolverine
2 Guns
Red 2
Drinking Buddies ( definitely take your Mrs to watch this with you if you want a root afterwards)

There has been a few good movies this year and of course a lot of shit ones.

'The to do list' as far as I am aware didn't come out at the movies but was really funny if your into crude humor. Also 'The Way Way Back' was good if you like a decent light story with some funny parts added in. If you like Larry David style of comedy there is a new movie of his called 'Clear History', definitely worth a watch.

Those are my picks for the less known movies.

i've watched most of them, or have them available to watch, when i get the time.

pretty much in agreement with you regarding their quality. there's been a lot of ordinary movies come out this year.

might go and see the hobbit 2 desolation of smaug on the weekend - more because i like the books / genre than because of any expectation of how good the movie may or may not be.

I'm a massive fan of Seinfeld however I've never seen a good movie with Larry David in it. I didn't laugh once through the hole movie with Clear History.

Meet The Millers however I thought was one of the funniest movies in 2013

I thought clear history was pretty good. Meet the Millers was also about 1000000x better than I expected, mostly because I thought it would be utterly shit.

Jeez Shuffs, I was speaking Hawaiian. The last movie that I felt really good about is generally the most recent Marvel movie at any given time. So excited for Cap 2.

I realised that, but thought you'd already done the Hawaiian thing, and were currently in Japan for Christmas,so that was my feeble attempt at the same greeting,in Japanese

Yes Veeks, that is an accurate description. In SNG now, battling with some of the worst hotel internet I've ever encountered. Off to Nagoya tomorrow night. Going to the Zoo today!

What is exactly the prob with the PS4? So far I have found the Xbox One easier to live with I guess.
That may be because there are no games on the PS4, and one (Forza) on Xbox One, so that's double.
Also I like the XBOX controller and UI more.
But man...mandatory installs and forced updates REALLY harsh my mellow.

My one will only startup every third or fourth go.
Puts out three long beeps and does nothing, tried all of the recommended steps to fix it and it still plays up.

Will take the thing back when I go back to work at the start of next year. I can still play it, its just frustrating.

You and a few thousand others, just a joke how the quality control can be so worful

And how many new XboxOne owners are going to get the excess usage net bill as a late xmas present after all the constant updates

Hopefully when I get mine I won't have that problem, but won't be for a while or unti U4 is release.

Chronicles of Riddick was probably the best one..

Chronicles of Riddick was too geek orientated with its storyline, which appealed to a very limited audience (imo)

Pitch Black was the best movie that appealed to the widest audience base.

i'll be interested to watch the new Riddick movie, and see how they've tried to breathe new life into the character / storyline / franchise.
