They seem to be reasonable, some of the cast parts look a bit "how do you do", but they feel pretty solid and do the job for what I need.

for use at home ryobi would be perfect. the 18v tools being frequently used on site might suggest they are up to the heavy duty tasks as well. nearly makes me question why im spending a fortune upgrading alot of my stuff from makita to bosch professional

ive got a whole bunch of doors to hang at the job im on at the moment so i went to bunnings to grab a laminate trimmer to do the hinges with. had the choice of ryobi or makita. all i can say is the ryobi certainly didnt look like it was worth the $100 they were asking for it. so i went with the makita, but it definately appears they have started to cheap out as well

PC power supply blew up and took out the motherboard and i7 processor. So bought a quad core Android PC + air mouse/keyboard/universal remote to tide me over till I can afford to build another gaming rig.
Torrenting through my TV ftw.

Should make the paint feel a little less like poo, then I can give it a nice polish and wax!

Is that carbon? Looks like just gloss. And have you done the exhaust, or is it just tips?

If you look very closely you can see weave of the carbon fibre.

Its carbon fiber, i did say that...

Just tips, the standard exhaust in the 335 is surprisingly pretty well done by BMW, so theres not really worthwhile room for improvement there, and i dont want it to be any louder. it sounds great as is with the vacuum removed so the flaps are always open and im terrified if i purchased a very loud exhaust that with all these crazy new laws i wouldn't even have to be giving it stick for the police to think i was.

Heres a better pic of the CF.

That diffuser looks porn. Not super keen on the exhaust if just tips-walking dangerously close to "fake m3" territory to me, though I doubt that was your intention. I am notoriously sensitive to up-badging and such though.

MJ80
Post #4218

Yeah its a good diffuser, some of the other options were so overdone and tacky it was ridiculous.

Though Its not even remotely close to fake M3 territory, seriously thats not sensitive thats just totally ridiculous, theres a huge big 335 badge right there and a 335 factory fitted M sport rear bar, not an M3 bar with an M3 badge.

8/10 after market exhausts for the 335 are quad piped anyway so regardless of tips or not as well as pretty much all diffusers, quad pipes are suited for this caliber of car and engine. Just because the M3 had quad pipes doesn't mean the 335 shouldn't or cannot especially considering the caliber of the car/engine in the 335 and even more so considering its probably the engine the M3 should have had rather than waiting for next generation for BMW to put similar in to the M4/M3.

Its not as if its a 320d with quad pipes and an M badge on the ass. Ridiculous.

Like I said, I'm pretty easily set off on that. I also said I doubt it was your intention.

the 335 is a bit of an enigma, most people dismiss it until they get spanked by one

wolfman101
Post #4221

Yeah. Back when I had my SRT6 I was of the opinion that the 1351/335i were the only comparably under-estimated vehicles on the road.

Man, you can buy fireworks at the local Warehouse super store in NZ.

Over the counter at any fishing/hunting store you can buy,
Co2 Air pistols, air rifles, crossbows, paintball guns, fireworks. The only thing you need to get a license for is real guns.
Plus most of the streets are either 100 or 60 ( they don't changed 40 times within a 2k stretch like Australia).
Some of the streets that were 100kph I was struggling to even hit 80 on the corners.

If NZ didn't have a crap economy I would move their tomorrow.

Don't even get me started on Car importing rules and mod restrictions lol, Nz doesn't have either of them.

Wait, so you are in Australia? Importing airsoft? You know that you can go to jail right? That's a gun as far as Australia is concerned.

vk134
Post #4230

That ain't no airsoft, it is a full blown Gamo 410fps .177 Co2 pistol, total one way ticket to Federal and State butt reaming if no licence and permit to acquire. Total BS IMO as it is just for fun, we should be allowed these simple non lethal sporting goods.

I'm hoping for his sake he is in NZ, as if he did the old dissassemble, luggage smuggle trick, there may be a knock at the door in a few weeks, getting it through customs is only half the fun.

Not at all, Because I didn't even go through customs tongue.gif . I walked up to customs . The guy checked my customs ticket and asked if I had anything to declare that was not on the card. I said no. He said no worries go to row 5 which went around the xray machines and straight to the exit lol.

Nice work, great little fun pistol, You are aware in qld it is mandatory 60 penalty units and 1 year imprisonment from unlicenced concealable firearm, enjoy all the same, new laws are gaylord
