    I'm so confused...so what you have here is a base model old c200 that someone (hopefully not you) has badged as a C32? What I don't get is the engine bay. Can you buy fake AMG engine cover things that fit non-AMG engines?

    No...
    ones that say "kompressor" are usually the base model in the range. AMG sometimes SC for power, but the "kompressor" badge is usually reserved for the ones that are SC'd for fuel economy...the SC 200s or 180s. It used to go in order in the ranges:

    Small SC engine (C200)
    V6 (C320)
    Large SC engine (C32)

    The easiest way to tell if it is an AMG from displacement is that AMG cars drop the zero. ie; C32, not C320

    For reference, the SC 3.2l looks like THIS:


    I should know, I drove a car with that engine for years...


    Absolutely brilliant unit.

    That ISN'T it. Also, the car lacks the AMG body kit and (I think) brakes.
    DOES seem to have the AMG exhaust though, which is weird.
