Busa wouldn't need much more than that... already a power plant hahah.

I ended up just buying a slip on(figured I wouldn't see the gains of the headers in the full system.
so I have just bought this.

All carbon R77 Yoshimura slip-on. along with the Yoshimura case savers.
How I hope my CBR will end up looking like..

No point buying a full system unless you're tracking,wouldn't notice the difference and pretty much a wank fest tbh.

My favourite looking thousand tbh,no bullshit and straight to the point unlike the other thousands.

i never get why people put after market pipes on road bikes to make them sound like those POS 125 pit bikes, leave them stock for fark sake they sound horrible

You must not be around the proper road bikes if thousands and larger are sounding like pit bikes,i can say the same about the wankers who put truck sized cannons on their pos skylines,silvia's and evo's,if everybody had the same taste the world would be boring.

What Dai said... I have never heard a decent road bike bsound like a pit bike... How ever the 250cc ones do, but larger cc bikes get power increase with a decent aftermarket exhaust

Right. Well ths time I had plenty of runs. 12.95. That is actually pretty much bang on manufacturer specs.
Annoying because:
A) AMG/RS/M generally underquote those times significantly and
B) I am running about 30 HP over stock.

Oh well, there was still a bit of time to make up with better launches.

I honestly, genuinely don't think the V10 looks or sounds as good. Apparently it handles slightly worse too. That said, the extra HP would sure be nice. Factor in the enormous price difference (not all of us are fortunate to live in a sanely priced country) and it starts to seem like a crappy deal for a car that I don't want THAT much more. Oh well, TT down the track maybe...?

Are there any aftermarket exhaust's available for the R8's ?
Surely there's other mods you can do with out going down the path of FI ?

Not a great deal. The engine is already pretty stretched. I already have an APR tune netting another 30hp. Above that you might screw another 20 out with an exhaust/headers. Doesn't really seem worth it for the cost, and I don't really want to alter the appearance or note of the exhaust.

I had a tubi exhaust on the V10 - I thought it sounded great in standard form, but as soon as the Tubi system went on, it became even more of a panty dropper.
